Stayed Feb 21, 2025Liked this place a lot. Very clean and largely as advertised. It's about a 20 minute walk to the base, a bit longer than I anticipated, or there is a shuttle. Main bed was very comfortable, although pull out sofa bed mattress was not- very thin. Walls are pretty thin in the building, so we heard a lot going on around us in the evening, and starting early in the morning. I'd stay here again!

Stayed Feb 16, 2025Annual ski trip with my teen son. First time in Winter Park and this place was in perfect location and perfect for the two of us. It was clean and had everything we needed. Location made everything easy and Debbie is a great host who was responsive and pleasant with every question we had. Definitely recommend this place if it is available and you are looking to enjoy Winter Park.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025My partner and I stayed at the Rocky Mountain Hideaway for a weekend and had a great time in Winter Park. Walking distance/close to the bus stop, with a great vibe. Would recommend!

Stayed Jan 25, 2025I have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and I even have my own listed. The Rocket Mountain Hideaway is my new favorite. The hosts are gracious with excellent communication. The pictures listed are accurate. The amenities that they provide are nicer than some hotels. I appreciated, good quality sheets, and towels with extra blankets if needed.For this day in particular, I did not have a lot of needs. I wanted to be close to the ski area. Although there is a bus I chose to walk because it was so close. The unit is also really close to trails and I went for a nice Snowy run. I can’t wait to come back
