Wind Drift 408SW | Gulf-Front + Outdoor Pool

This was my favorite of the three different properties we have stayed while visiting Orange Beach. It was clean and well stocked! There was even a playpen and a medical potty seat available. The view was beautiful and access to the beach was super quick and easy. The pool was nice. Parking was THE BEST! 63 was steep, but then again I expected it. Luggage carts were available in the breezeway. The elevators were available all times without a wait. The PacMan game was a huge hit with my daughter. We appreciated the Rokus in each room. Kitchen was well stocked. Some helpful tips: bring toilet paper and your own pillows. Pillows were either paper thin or very firm. There were things that would be helpful to know, like the location of the “exterior storage” (really a closet right outside the door), aCharging cord for the Roku (the remote was dead, but I happened to have a cord I used to charge it). It’s helpful to know that the lobby isn’t locked and if you come in super late at night, you can still enter to get your parking pass. The lock on the door was a little tricky as well. We truly loved our stay and would book again in the future!

The property itself was very nice and was also very clean. But there was construction being performed on the building itself, and the room was inhabitable during work hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM 6 days per week our entire stay. The pool was also under construction was also unusable. There was loud noise, pounding, drilling and much dust. We were not notified when we made the reservation of this condition and disruption. We were not offered ANY discount for not being able to be in the room all day long or for the mess we had to put up with. Extremely Disappointed if not discussed of the deception!

We love the Wind Drift SW. Great condo, had everything we needed plus extras. Have been staying there for vacations at least the last 35 years. One minor problem this time & it was taken care of by noon the next day. The beach is so accessible. Close to the restaurants we enjoy. Extra fun things included in our condo rental. It’s our favorite place to stay in Orange Beach.

The condo we stayed in was very nice. It was right on the beach. My only complaint was the construction but it wasn't that bad.

Enjoyed everything about the condo. Nicely decorated and the best pillows ever. Sitting on the balcony was extra special with the variety of furniture. We highly recommend this unit.

We should have been told about the outside maintenance going on while we were there. Scaffolding on our deck wasn’t the view I paid for. We should be given a discount. Not enough parking and the entry gate was difficult to get through. Would not stay there again. Very disappointed.

Place was beautiful. Location perfect to several nearby areas. Would definitely come back.

This location was great! in a quiet part of the beach just past the bridge. The downside was the constant construction on our building. We were not made aware of the extent of repairs on the condo (nor was itrip). In the future, I would recommend not opening certain condos until construction is completed. iTrip was gracious about our issues and helped as they could.

I knew there was suppose to be some repairs going on, but the first morning around 7:00 a.m. we hear air hammers and drill saws for an hour or so. We could not even hear the TV or talk to one another. A piece of the furniture looked as though it needs to be at the homeless shelter it was torn and ripped on both sides I did notice when photos were taken you could not see all of the chair. It was terrible. The floor was sticky in some places. The glass door was filthy. The elevators were down for hours. I had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs. I am 71 my husband is 75. Very hard and harmful to my body. Could not get into the outside storage door,lock would not work. Needed to have on site office to help with problems on hand. The best thing is the water was beautiful. Has to be a lot of changes before we will return. Too expensive for this experience.hour or so.

The condo was a perfect space for our family to connect and unwind from the daily grind. We had everything we needed for our stay and no issues from check-in to check-out. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cabinet filled with games and a Ms. Pacman game on the wall, which was not pictured. View was perfect and we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather. We'll be back!

The unit looks just like the pictures it is a very nice/clean unit the only problem we had was that next door to use they were doing construction on the unit and the noise and concrete dust that came into our unit was so bad we had to move to another unit. They gave us another unit about a mile away from where we were staying, and it is just awesome. I do recommend this place.

Loved the area, got shut in with record cold and snow, but will be back in a year or two, probably in April for better weather

We loved the location of the condo. We walked right out to the beach. We were a short drive to shopping and restaurants. The condo was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Everything was perfect for our little bachelorette getaway. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. I absolutely fell in love with the decor. I would definitely stay here again!
