Stayed Oct 14, 2025It was picture perfect. Other than a small glitch getting in (which could just as well have been user error), it was wonderful. And they were quick to respond and help with the glitch. The digs were beautiful, clean. Plenty of extras I didn't have to worry about (coffee pods, filters, condiments for sandwiches/cooking). I spent most of my time inside (which wasn't much) on the recliner, covered by a very fuzzy blanket, in front of the fireplace, listening to the waves crash just steps away. When I come back to Oregon, this is where I'm staying.

Stayed Sep 10, 2024We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. It is also located an easy drive a many coastal hikes and tourist sites to help fill the days when you want to be more active than beach combing. BUT the best is just relaxing at the property enjoying ocean sounds and views.

Stayed Jun 10, 2024It was just as pictured and advertised, right on the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely. We were in the middle of a four week vacation and used this week to rest and relax on the beach. It was absolutely great!! If we get to this region again, we will stay here again. We both loved it!!

Stayed Jun 5, 2024The weather was awesome! Except for some wind on a couple of the days. But all in all it was a great time. The house was clean when we arrived, and it is steps from the ocean. A wonderful place to stay and the owner even was kind enough to send us a watch that we left behind. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed May 21, 2024This is such a cute and clean little place right next to the beach. You can literally walk right out the door and onto the sand. No neighbor to one side which is amazing. Great views! They had everything you could need.

Everything you can think of is provided, from the incredibly well stocked kitchen to the comfort and warmth of the king sized bed. The personal touches of the decor are wonderful and the view of the ocean is exactly what we needed for our getaway. Thank you so much!
