Well appointed pet friendly condo with a community pool and a boardwalk to the b

Our stay was okay. The property is very dated as well as the unit we stayed in. It was somewhat clean, however there was an issue with roaches/waterbugs. I reported it to the management company and they promptly sent out pest control to spray. I had inquired about a pest problem after reading reviews before booking. They informed me it was on a monthly pest control schedule, so I booked it. We also had a clogged master sink that was promptly taken care of. Management was very helpful and nice considering our situation. We inquired about an additional day if no more bugs were seen. Everything was good so we stayed an additional day. Needless to say, after confirming our additional night we saw more live bugs the night before we left. There seems to be a big problem with these at this property. We stayed at other property with no issues. I would also advise to wash any dishes before being used because of this. It’s also by the highway which made for loud noise while sleeping .

Upon entering the house it smelt a bit musty and stale. The bathroom floors also felt sticky when walking in. Overall though the house was great and we enjoyed our stay.

The quaint dirt road you can drive to the private boardwalk makes beach access a breeze.. Great location for dogs! Enjoyed the large master bath tub, but unfortunately the jacuzzi feature didn't work. I was unable to get the Roku TV in the living room to work propertly, but did in the master bedroom. Don't expect any basic kitchen supplies that other often have like salt/pepper, coffee. Bring allo consumables yourself. One negative: many hotels allow late checkout as a courtesy to their customers. This group, along with others, are really starting to monetize this even for just an hour & even if no one is booked after you.Here you have to request it the morning of checkout &, if granted, pay $50 more per hour. If I can't count on the late checkout in advance, then I may as well be ready to leave & save the money. The final morning I returned to my condo well before checkout time. My entrace code no longer worked & It took about an 45 minutes for me to finally get in with management help. For that I got an extra hour to checkout. Overall, I would return.

Property was nice and clean. A reasonable walk to the beach. Had a relaxing time and the to-do list upon checkout was reasonable. Prop management was available via text and quite responsive. Things I wish I had known: * Living room TV has a ROKU that is already logged into Netflix (among a small list of others), but the device is protected by a PIN number, so if you want to connect to a channel they don't have on their ROKU, your only option is to bring your own ROKU. * There are BBQ pits on property, but they are the kind you find at city parks and would require a good bit of prep and cleaning to use. * Only one medium trash bag is provided, which we went through in a day. Make sure you bring extra. * There are ants that come into the living room and swarm the couch and loveseat by the window, especially after it rains. There are large visible ant nests at the foot of the stairs in the sand. I would suggest bringing raid ant baits with you.

Check in was a breeze, checkout was a breeze. The drive to the beach access bridge made it very easy to transport kids, supplies, toys, etc.

Reviewer Comments: Disappointed in the location, not direct access to beach like advertised. Shared pool was very tiny. There was a cleaning fee of 150$ but I found wads of dog hair in the jacuzzi tub drain and the whole condo smelled of dog. Master bedroom jacuzzi jets did not work for the tub. Beds were so hard me and my husband debated sleeping on couches. Most likely will never book here again and we go to Port A twice a year.

Check in was easy, communication was amazing, roaches on the master bedroom wall the moment we walked in, the master bed was terrible to sleep on, the rest of the interiors were nice, kitchen well stocked, the online pictures of the outdoor pool and properties are very misleading.

We opened the fold out bed and there was crumbs or something on the bed. We washed them right away. The dishes we attempted to use had leftover food in the cabinets. The floors felt dirty when we got there and the whole condo did not appear to be cleaned. Dead roach was on the floor. Something was crawling in the wall each night and throughout the day.

when we were leaving the sink backed up like someone was running dishwasher or garbage disposal! but that was it!

Nice place, friendly people, location away from the busy side of the island, good place to relax and enjoy time off
