Great location. Clean. Comfy bedding
The condo was fine, bed was super comfy, location was perfect. Vacasa was not, it was a huge hassle when it was time to checkout. We HAD to be out by 10 am otherwise it was an additional $100 for late checkout. We planned on skiing Sunday but Vacasa insisted we take the keys and the parking pass down the canyon over 1 mile away. So if we wanted to ski, we would have to turn around in heavy traffic and fi d paid parking at the resort. Vacasa said this was disclosed (which it was, AFTER we booked). All vacation rentals we have used in the past have never been this difficult. Felt like a hotel not a personal rental.
If you plan to ski on check in and check out day consider other options. Keys for the rental are not located on site and parking is not available until 4pm check in. Plan to arrive to ski area early to ensure you get a parking spot. A similar situation arises for 10 am checkout time. If you wait to checkout at 10 am, you may miss the opportunity to find public parking. This situation would be significantly improved if you could leave the keys in your room or on site at checkout. Currently, Vacasa requires dropping them off offsite despite requests for an alternative process. The building does not have space to store your gear upon early arrival or late departure so it’s unlikely you could ski on those days if relying on a transportation service to bring you up the canyon. The room is spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cooking tools. Bring your own dish detergent. The space is outdated but comfortable for a ski stay. The master bed at its end life. I messaged Vacasa directly and hope they replace the mattress for future guests. The shower door leaks a little but plenty of towels are provided. Overall, ski Solutide. It’s wonderful with great access to Brighton. If available, stay elsewhere.
It’s all about the location. If you’re planning to have a winter adventure at Solitude Mountain Resort, this is a great spot.
This was a great place, really close to everything in solitude. We would definitely stay here again.
Great vibe. Live music one night on the outdoor space. Fun place for family games and family reunions. The grills gave us a nice opportunity to have a big family BBQ. We loved being on the ground floor in Powderhorn 102 - near to the action with easy access but private and quiet too.
Two minutes and you're on the slopes. No new snow, but OK spring conditions & blue-bird days. Handy laundry machines, Village dining & Tavern. Wish Owners had put together a detailed information binder on what's where instead of having to wing it. I think there is a problem with the right side of the mattress (depression).
Great little condo for a couple or small family. Walking distance to the shops, slopes, rental shop, or resort shuttle. Covered free parking is a plus! Once we parked we never drove our vehicle.
Great clean and convienant.
Great location just a quick walk to the lifts. Right in the middle of the village so it's also close to restaurants, etc. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Underground parking with elevator and luggage carts which is important when you have a lot of gear.
