Waterfront island getaway with balcony, pool, tennis, & easy beach access

The property was gated and steps from a private beach. The room was fine. Property was dark in the parking lot at night. The pool was dirty/had mold all around broken tiles and down the sides. I couldn’t stand or sit near the edges because it was everywhere.

I didn’t like that we couldn’t get in the gate even with code. Wifi never worked even though I calledthem to fix it Beds were the worst EVER We never got any one to come to room to help us. I give it a 2

The proximity of the beach. The pool clear and clean for the ones who weren't find of the ocean swimming. The check in process was a headache and a hassell. Nothing seemed to go smoothly. Entering or leaving the property was more of a annoyance. No matter whom you called they couldn't help you or was just u aware of what was needed. Supposed to be cods for the key box and)or the unit door, none of the emailed codes worked. The key wasn't even in the coded box anyway. It was brought by a cleaner to the outside parking where we waited for almost a hour. A code is given in case the gate key isn't working. When the key card for the drive through gate quit working, the code given didn't work and when contacted to get another code the company I booked through was unaware such a gate was on the property and I was told there wasn't a access code either, use the key or nothing. Once they did call back another renter let me through. On the call I was told I'd have to park outside the gate an walk and pack all my stuff because a new one couldn't be given til the next day. In the end that didn't work because the code to the key box didn't work so a exchange of keys couldn't be made. No management or workers to help on site at all. I wasn't alone with these issues. I heard and spoke with other guests experiencing the same problems.

There was no beach view. Actually the living area looked directly onto the walkway so people were constantly walking right in front and looking in. I kept the drapes closed. Unfortunately that gave it a dark feeling. Check in instructions were not correct. Gate was up all the time. No idea where the box with the gate pass was or who to see about it. There is no direction for parking or which section to go up to find the appropriate hallway. It was clean and nice. Kitchen was sparsely supplied. Lids and pots did not match (sizes).

Had a great time. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Very close to the beach!!!

As advertised

At first glance the condo was exactly what i wanted. The first problem i had was turning on the tv.. there was no instructions on how to do so. Meaning the outlets on that side of the wall wasn't working but luckily I searched until I for a switch on the wall behind the balcony curtain that turns on the outlets (something people should know coming into the condo. Next was the couch pillows utterly disgusting ALL OF THEM. Next there was no parking pass available and was at risk of my car being towed. Finally got that issue resolved by being told to write my name on a piece of paper check in and checkout date. Overall I liked the house and the area but paying attention to little detail will make this condo a better experience

This location is a nice spot on Tybee Island. The pool is wonderful and the access to the beach is fantastic!The place is exactly as it looks in pictures. It is dated, but clean. It fit what we needed with low price and location.

Overall - the stay was fine. The gate to the property broke on Sunday - and they didn't fix it until Tuesday or Wednesday. And there was a water leak that started late Monday night in the ceiling of the bathroom. We called the 24-hr number, but I don't think anyone responded. We were out all day on Tuesday in Savannah, but we called again on Tuesday when we got back to the rental and someone came out that night. But we had to set out pans to catch the water that was dripping.

Good location. Beautiful beach nearby. Walls and ceilings dusty and had cobwebs. Linens smelled of mildew in places. Right size. Good price. Our door code deactivated midway through our stay.stay.stay. Not wheelchair or walker accessible. handicapped acvessible

It was just so amazing , thought our sons found a glitch in the door lock. If you were to put 000- etc till the rest of the digest but random, it would unlock sometimes with the wrong code.

This property needs a major upgrade. The bed was was very worn and uncomfortable. The couch is so old it was not even comfortable to sit on and almost impossable to turn into bed. The TV is very small aned old. We could not even get a picture the first night. The next morning I remembered my TV at home had to be on channel 3. This solved the problem. There was no chair in the room to sit. The only saving grace was the cost of the unit was very reasonable but the quality of the unit reflected that.

The location was great. Fine for access to the beach and pool. The property managers could do some upkeep on the pool to make it more presentable and clean.

Vacasa needs improvement. Two days after we arrived, the code to door lock would no longer open the door for some reason. We were locked out and called Vacasa and were told the code for emergency key. The emergency key was missing. We waited 2 hours for someone to come to let us back inside. He changed the code but lock still would not work. He said he had never known of this to happen and that he would have to change the whole passcode lock BEFORE THE NEXT GUEST ARRIVED. He thought he had programmed a new code that would work for us and said it may take 30 minutes or so and he left and said to call him if it didn’t work. After an hour, I called him and it went to voice mail and I left a message but we got no return call. The rest of our week, we left our door unlocked whenever we went out and just locked our valuables in our car as we did not want to be locked out of condo again. Also, we could not access live TV on the tv there. Wi-Fi was good so we just streamed live tv from our tv provider on my iPad. We notified Vacasa and they did not know why Comcast tv was not working and said technology person would come check it but never did.

Worth the money. My sister and I enjoyed the trip to recharge and unwind.

It was close to everything

I loved the community. It’s safe with a gate. No one can enter unless they rent there.

We enjoyed the quiet and cozy atmosphere.
