Walk to downtown Banner Elk, Excellent Views, 1BD 1BA

Property was very clean and proximity to town was excellent The area around property could do with a clean up and getting heat into the house was a bit of a culture shock and a little challenging Thank heavens for the neighbour Other than this, it was an awesome stay and would defo stay again, only in the summer though

Liked being able to walk to restaurants, especially since I didn’t have a car!

It was a great location, just noisy being that it’s a bottom unit to someone’s house I’m assuming. Wasn’t provided with basic shower necessities like stated in the amenity section of the property.

A beautiful cabin center located at Banner Elk with a stunning view of Sugar Mountain. We had an amazing experience vacation! Thanks again!

This quaint home was a great spot for a quick getaway! I loved the proximity to downtown Banner Elk and enjoyed going to eat at those restaurants. There was a nice playground/park close by that we visited too. There was a group staying in the upstairs portion and were often loud / would wake us during the night with their walking around. That is not the fault of the owners though. Overall great stay!

Great little one bed one bath. With a pull out couch. Clean and cute. You can walk to everything in town. Close to the winery and brewery. We were very happy with our stay in Banner elk! Thanks!

Host was very pleasant and communicative. The stay felt warm and homey. We really enjoyed it, and I would recommend this place to any solo or duo travelers. Well worth the price.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location for someone who likes to be close to Beech and also restaurants in the evening. Place was clean and everything worked as described. Brad was very responsive with questions and allowed early check in which helped with the incoming storm. Would stay there again.

Only issues:1. breakers kept tripping losing power2. could not lite the gas logs3. took 12 hours to figure out how to change thermostat due to no directions and confusing control4. rug coming out of shower was very dirty5. proximity to town was excellent6. needed a phone number for host

We enjoyed staying there. Close to everything. Enjoyed walking to town. The only one thing is the microwave was not working well . Great Stay over all.

Great little place to stay! Clean and convenient. Located close to many of the mountain areas we love. Definitely would stay there again.

Great location. But we found a few issues others should know. Parking and getting in and out is a problem as the driveway is very small and tight. The steps leading into the unit are in poor repair and hazardous. We couldn’t find a thermostat anywhere in the unit and the AC blew cold air when we didn’t need it. The laminate flooring was sticky when walking on bare feet and the cleanliness was questionable.

OK, No smoke detector and steps leading to house very dangerous. over priced.

Upon arrival, reasonable condition, entry went ok, neat inside. When leaving for dinner we didnt know how to lock up and tried to contact phone in email and they didnt know location or how to help. Someone staying in the condo upstairs fortunately came by and were able to help. Mattress was not comfortable. Shower door wouldn't stayed closed while showering, kept sliding open. Less than 1 roll of toilet paper left for two nights stay. Wont return book.

The property was simple, clean, and exactly what we needed to spend a few days in Banner Elk visiting our son at Lees-McRae. Thank you so much for providing such a pleasant place to rest our heads!

Place is cute and comfortable. It was very clean. The few minor issues were solved quickly by communicating with the owner.

We had such a great time. The property is located within walking distance of the town and so many great restaurants. Also close to both beech mountain and sugar mountain if you’re looking for a great place to stay for a ski trip! We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay near Sugar and Beech Mtns.

Phenomenal location, just up the hill, easy walking distance to downtown. Place was clean, owner was easy to reach and quick to respond. Just needs a few things. The space heater in the main room is not intuitive and the instructions are not clear. This would not be such a bad thing, but the heater is absolutely necessary in the winter. It's on a gas line, too, so super clear instructions in a very clear location are much needed. The heaters also make it tough to maintain a consistent warm temperature, especially at night. Also needs some coat hooks by the door.

We enjoyed the property. Parking is a little tight for parger vehicles, but not bad.We did struggle a bit with the heat8nng system until we were informed the upstairs thermostat conte9ls the heat downstairs. There is a gas heater which w9rked well, but temperature regulation was a challenge. Still, overall a very nice stay.hearing system

We drove up from Florida to ski and to stay in a village atmosphere. The housecwas so cozy and comfortable, we had everything we needed. We were 3 miles from Sugar Mtn.ski resort. We we walking distance to great restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, although ot was too cold for us to enjoy all that. We recommend staying here 5 starsstaying at this great ps.

Cozy space as advertised, tight parking if you are in a XL Vehicle, Tahoe or long truck. Walking distance to some great restaurants, ice cream parlor, and a arcade for the kids/teens. Quiet area with nice views. Only suggestion I have is bring a space heater if you are visiting in winter. They do have a gas space heater if you are comfortable operating one.comcomfortableoperating that.

My birthday was on Friday and wanted to get away with my girlfriend. This was the absolute perfect place for it. The cabin was great, the town of banner elk was beautiful and had some great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

Location was perfect. We were able to walk to downtown Banner Elk and not have to worry about parking. Host was responsive when we reached out about the heat. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute & quaint cabin & very convenient to downtown BE

Right across the road from the restaurants and shops of Banner Elk. Close to other attractions like Grandfather Mountain. Parking was tight and a bit confusing but the place was clean and cozy.

Did not state downstairs condo when we booked. Parking no ample for full sized vehicle. Pull up and backup three time to turn around. Room not ready at arrival time. Bed was horrible. Like sleeping in a pit. Stayed only one of two nights because of lack of sleep. Heat controlled by upstairs condo. We woke up at 54 am feeling like an oven with no way to control the heat from the ceiling. We would have been more comfortable tent camping.

Just Walmart we were looking for! Spacious and clean, and pet-friendly! Walking distant to the restaurants downtown and easy drive for everything else!

We have a 4 wheel drive. If there had been more than our pickup and the renters from upstairs we could not have parked there. It could have been a lot cleaner.

This property is a great find. The interior is perfect and is clise walking distance to everything in Banner Elk. A certain do-over.

Nice one bedroom, kitchen, living room apartment within a very short walk to everything in Banner Elk. Very clean, well appointed, had everything we needed for a quiet weekend for the two of us.
