Walk to Beach: Home w/ Porch on Anna Maria Island!

Nice and clean condo with most supplies included to prepare meals and wash laundry. Very convenient to have all the beach supplies downstairs, along with a cart to carry them. Close to shops and grocery store within walking distance. A minor problem was handled quickly.

Island: Excellent. Tons of exceptional wide open beautiful beach. Quiet, safe, lower key than many.Location on island: Very good. Near Publix, Walgreens, Bus line, some small dining spots, near exit from island, and only a short walk or bike ride to the beach.Complex: Smaller complex, overall average, but quiet. Smaller pool that is sometimes crowded and arguably too small for the number of bathers. No onsite mgt. We were a little startled by the daytime raccoons that would come out of the woods, climb through the fence, and drink from the crowded pool. Some heavy equip noise from causeway.Unit: Average unit probably built late 80s, clean but could use some updating. Unit is dark-ish, patio backs up to the heavily wooded mangroves and there is no view and almost no sun. Only one small window in spare room for any cross ventilation, sun, or view of complex area. We appreciate the many towels and paper products. Kitchen well stocked with appliances, tools, some spices. Carport nearly impossible to use with any larger vehicle, i was able to back in with a multipoint K turn (wife wouldn't attempt) but if someone parks in the outdoor slot of the next unit, forget it. outdoor open parking near unit usually full so if you can't get into the carport it's likely a walk with your gear. Bring a smaller car if you can. One double set of steps to unit. Owner: Responsive and seems like a nice guy. Conclusion: We'll be back to AMI but probably a different spot.

Condo was clean and well appointed. The pool was great! Short walk to the beach. Great meals at Kiwi Fish and Chips and Taco Tuesday at Los Chiludos, both just across the Main Street.

The three of us ladies enjoyed our stay in Casa Gucci. We had a bit of trouble finding it because it’s behind 3705 Sunbow Bay and not intuitive when first arriving. It was updated, clean and well appointed although we only ate breakfast and lunch there. The washer/dryer came in handy and we sat on the little porch for morning coffee. Close to the pool and walks to the beach were quick with a stop at the close by Publix for anything we needed. It was nice to have access to beach equipment, but unfortunately the red tide prohibited us from staying too long. There was only one issue that was noticeable which were missing vertical blind slats in the master bedroom. Would definitely stay here again as the location was perfect.

We walked to the beach every morning, to walk the beach, stay a while, then came back later and joined up with the rest of the sunset club watchers! Restaurants galore or head over to Publix, again within walking distance. The condo itself was neat, clean, very nicely furnished and the kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need, just bring on the food. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect and very clean, along with washer/dryer. We truly loved the screened-in porch. After a day on the beach or driving the rest of the island sight-seeing, or riding the free trolly, resting out there with a nice drink in hand was the best. And in the morning the sunrise streaming through the mangroves, oh yeah, what a way to wake up. Thank you to our guest contact for answering any questions we had about the condo or area. Such a nice and helpful lady! We really hated to leave, but daughter's hubby and my little dog were calling. We WILL be back!

The condo at Sandy Pointe was perfect for our needs. Three of us stayed in the condo and it had everything we needed. We especially liked using all the beach equipment. The location is great, centralized, walking distance to everything.

Very private. Would definitely stay on this property again. Wagons were very helpful for getting things to the beach. We have stayed near this location in the past and it is the best location on the island for accessing everything from the grocery store to restaurants right across the street. Also very close to the trolley stop as we don't rent a car on the island because we use the FREE trolley every day.

The condo was exactly as the pictures showed! It was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome stay! The wagon and beach chairs were a plus. We walked to a very private beach down on 36th (15 min). Love this place! Beaches are beautiful! Can’t wait to return!

Our family recently stayed at this property for spring break. It was quiet, cutely decorated, and perfectly located across the street from Publix (grocery store), Walgreens, CVS, the trolley stop, and Holmes Beach. The owner supplied all the beach gear and even wagon to haul it all in! We had an issue with the WiFi not working, and the property manager and owner worked directly with us to solve the problem quickly. Cannot say enough about this place! Highly recommend!
