The property was clean and spacious. There are so many dining options within walking distance.

The property manager was very helpful. The unit was spotless and very well equipped. There is a nice fitness room and indoor pool. I highly recommend.

The Ascent complex is great with indoor/outdoor hot tubs, game room, workout room, close to retail, and shuttle service to BC (make sure you get app and access code). Unfortunately, we had three major issues. The heat had been turned off at the source, so no heat for first night. Toilet had a leak. When we tried to use the oven, the unit started to wreak of gas (must have been pilot light). All were fixed by management. While the unit and complex were great and management was responsive, too much went wrong for a higher review. Hopefully, these were just one-time issues.

We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed to do so. The common areas were perfect, especially if you have kids. We spent a good amount of time downstairs. The gym was also very nice. We would definitely stay here again!In full transparency, the only complaint that I have is that we were threatened to be towed for parking in the garage, ON Christmas Day...4 days after we arrived. Merry Christmas! There was plenty of parking in there too, so it's not like we were taking the last spot. The arrival instructions that we received via email gave us the code to enter the garage if we arrived after hours, so we assumed that's where we were to park. There was only one vehicle in the outside parking lot. Nowhere did it state that we (as guests and not owners) were to park outside. We did talk to someone with VRC and everything was ironed out, but I feel like the blame was placed on us vs acknowledging that the information they provided was misleading. Hopefully that has been updated and resolved and won't happen to others in the future.

Photos reflect the reality except for us, the lobby area was devoid of most furniture (not an issue for us). Would have been nice to have coffee pods and creamers in the place since we arrived late. Easy instructions to go in and out.We saw no evidence of the shuttle but the shuttle to Beaver Creek is a short walk. I guess the shuttle is for high season?
