Fantastic host family! Good location in a beautiful orchard/garden. Wanui Beach is a short (10 min) walk or even shorter drive. Or drive to Makorori Beach for surfing. And it’s only a few minutes’ drive into Gisborne.

Lovely hosts, super relaxed and friendly. Neat being able to take a dip in the pool on a hot day!

The host was very approachable and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would book this accommodation again. There was also a very cute cafe 1 minute drive to Wainui which opened for breakfast at 7:30am.

Owners were so friendly and welcoming. The flat and property are gorgeous. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Pool was much loved and appreciated.

This is a lovely cottage on lovely property. The host family are very friendly and accommodating. The property is near some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We also enjoyed walking through the extensive veggie garden and orchard.

Very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend great facility for a family. Hosts are fantastic very accomodating.

Absolutely awesome place to stay

Host was friendly as. Beautiful property really close to our conference. The pool was the highlight for us. Swam everyday. Definitely recommend this property.

We stayed in the property for the last 2 nights and loved how close it was to town. The property was clean and well appointed and had plenty of coffee, sugar & fresh milk for our breakfasts.For nearby activities: we went hiking at Cooks Cove & listened to an Irish music band at the nearby Rivers Restaurant.We tried to make reservations to see the Stingray’s at Dive Tatapouri but they were booked, so if you’d like to experience the Stingrays’ first hand suggest making a reservation early so you’re not disappointed.The only downside is the property is adjacent to the owner and you share the pool with their family so if you’re looking for greater seclusion then this listing probably isn’t for you.

Very impressed with the surrounds, cleanliness both inside and out. We loved soaking in the pool after 2 hard days of outdoor bowls.Met Hayley who wa very welcoming

Easy access to wainui beach, cycleways and running tracks. A great deep pool and friendly owners close by. It had everything we needed for a first time holiday to gisborne.

This is an amazing property , owners were very friendly and invited us to pick veggies freely .It's close to surfing at wainui beach and the 2 bedroom house is well equipped for any holiday stay , will be back !

Unfortunately the weather spoiled our holiday however we did get 3 out of seven days sun and we’re able to use the very nice pool.It really wasn’t the usual Gisbourne weather. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

Would be ideal for family with older children. Has direct access to pool. Close to beach and access to a lovely country garden surrounds
