Villages of Five Points 3rd floor condo - great location & amenities!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of four rented the condo for an end of summer beach trip. The unit had everything we needed and was very well maintained and clean. The full sized kitchen was a plus, as we made most meals at the condo. It was also a bonus to have a washer & dryer available after being at the beach all day! The unit is close to everything, but requires driving to beaches...etc. The immediate area has a few restaurants that are in walking distance. Lastly, the pool was a nice added bonus for our kids. The only downside to this unit is that there is no typical beach view from the outside balcony...just other condo units....However, the price for rental was very reasonable and the lack of view really wasn’t a big deal.

Having an app at our fingertips to navigate through the entire stay made renting this property even more enticing. From the recommendations for restaurants, beaches and various activities, we had plenty to choose from.

great short stay everything was excellent except we were supposed to be on the 2nd floor but were put on the 3rd, as seniors it was a little tough bringing everything up to the top floor. All else went really well.

Reviewer Comments: Our family of four booked this 2 bedroom condo very last minute for a holiday weekend, and were pleasantly surprised that this property was available. It was exceptionally clean, and had good space for all four of us. It was nicely furnished -- most things seemed quite new -- and had all of the amenities we needed. It was reasonably close to the beach (had to drive, but we expected that). Our only minor dissatisfaction (and the reason for 4 vs 5 stars) was the primary bedroom mattress, which seemed older and was less comfortable than we had hoped.

The beds and pillows are comfortable, and the separate bedrooms were perfect for our younger children. We would definitely stay here again.

About the property: lovely condo. Had lots of amenities not mentioned like a cooler and beach chairs. Nice layout for myself and 3 kids. Well equipped kitchen with sharp knives. Comfortable beds. Clean place but the floors could use a heavier mop, our feet were picking up black. Just need a good scrub probably. Location/Area - Easy location to jump off from. Great pool. We liked using Cape Henlopen for our beach days. Lewes beach is on the bay with no waves and shallow water which some with younger kids may enjoy. Grocery store is within the main complex so walkable, but not a small walk. Plenty of parking. Rental - annoying that this property is managed by a realtor who makes you come to the office to check in AND check out despite it being a keyless entry door. Seriously, it’s 2024, just send me the code and leave the pool FOB at the unit. Definitely annoying especially since the area is very heavy on traffic.
