This is our most requested apartment for the romantic getaway. 8 tall windows overlook the beach and the Gulf of Mexico from the second floor of the big house. Lie in bed in the morning and watch the sand pipers and the beach combers. Dine in the evening at the table for two and enjoy the most beautiful red sunsets into the ocean. Our guest book is full of rave reviews. This is the best of Old Florida.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025We were happy to find a spot to extend our Florida stay for 1 more week. The unit itself was very clean, but in need of some TLC. I have to say that it was well equipped and the location and view could not be beat. Though there were many beach chairs and outdoor seating available, the property is clearly in need of some purging. There was an issue with the hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sink. The owner was quick to respond but we agreed to make due as there was hot water in the shower and we had no desire to sit around and wait for the plumber.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Nov 28, 2024We had a great time at this property. Yes, the property is aged but has great charm. Great value to be directly on the beach and very well stocked with floats, chairs, beach toys and carts to carry out all. Will definitely say again.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024We never received our information needed for arrival. Called the number provided to us and we were told they didn’t handle the property anymore. The gentleman was very kind to give us the owners number. As Curtis said to us, “You are very lucky to reach me as I am hiking with my family and cell reception is very poor in some of the canyons in Colorado. I guess we were lucky. I try not to run with my luck and our need for the information was necessary for our stay. Work to be done. Location is the best. Beach is beautiful and we did have a nice time. When we try to get away from stress, it was a shaky start at best.

Stayed Jun 18, 2022Perfect beach location. The house is older and shows some wear and tear but the room was clean and had all the essentials. Worth it to be a few steps from the sand.
