VIEWS TO BEACHES & RUSSELL-FIELDS PIER!BCH SRVC INCL!!

The condo was not clean by any means. We spent the first 2 hours cleaning up dog hair everywhere. On the stove, the counter tops, sheets, couched , chairs , and even on the outside balcony. I mean everywhere. That’s why we always choose a no pets allowed room due to my kids having bad allergies to pet dander. I vacuumed all the furniture and it was full of dust and animal hair. The floor in the kitchen was stained and sticky where is wasn’t mopped. There was a pill left on the door in the kitchen. I did message the host and she told me to message the manager. They did offer the next day to come reclean my room. lol but we had already spent the previous day cleaning. I told them I didn’t want anyone to come “re clean” it I was just like some kind of compensation for having to clean our own room. They told us someone’s else would be contacting me. Nobody ever did. I even messaged again and nothing nor nobody messaged me back. The beds was aweful, hard as a rock. I might as well slept on the floor. Definitely will not be back to this condo. Very disappointed for what I paid for the room. I have never had any issues booking condos we go every year. But will not return to this condo.

Great location, very nice and clean condo, definitely will stay there again

A lot of little (easily fixable) things that took away from what could have been a great experience: Ants at the pool, the dirty pool tile from sunscreen and such, beach access full of sand (someone fell on the steps). Our a/c stopped working and couldn't get a hold of anyone until 9am the next morning. I couldn't find an emergency or 24hr line. The bartender at the tiki hut was rude - didn't acknowledge my husband & then lifted her phone to show him she was on a 15 minute break. We didn't go back after that. Process for beach chairs would have been nice to know (guy just told us to come back in the morning, when later we found out you can reserve for the entire stay once). And the cleaning crew showed up before our check out time but then when I called the # to say we were leaving there was no option to say leaving or operator.

This is our 2nd stay at Calypso Resort, but a different unit. The negatives: There was pretty significant damage to the kitchen island, with drywall showing where decorative planks were removed. It appeared there was likely water damage because the floor was also rotten and sinking in one area of the kitchen/hallway. Pots and pans were rusted and scraped, to the extent they could not be used without something to line or cover. Oven door handle was loose. Each room had a smart tv, but we were unable to watch any local channels to plan for weather/events, because there was no cable (or if there was, we couldn’t figure it out). Overall these things are minor, we enjoyed eating out over cooking and the “construction” needs were more of a shock because I wasn’t expecting to see broken wood and exposed drywall or sinking floors. The location and view are beautiful the unit is spacious with 2 large bathrooms and close access to the elevators, which are surprisingly efficient for such a large resort. Parking in the attached garage is nice and always available and grounds were always clean. Access to beach chairs through the resort is great, but unit also had lots of beach items in the laundry closet as well.

Calypso is the only place I'll ever stay.

The location and views were great as pictured. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Everything was going great until trying to use the beach service that was a major factor of us choosing this property, I speak with the people setting up the chairs and umbrellas and give them our room number 2-1806. And was informed that in-fact it’s not on the list. I left 2 separate audio messages to 2 separate numbers to contact the property manager. A couple of hours later I received a text stating the previous owners said it would be included but they haven’t fixed it. Then somehow the new owners say they removed the description for included beach service… And somehow it has been added to the description again??? FYI as I’m typing this 5/13/23 it is STILL advertising the service. The problem is I paid for the entire description to only be LIED too! Do the math on 6 days beach service and that’s how much We lost.. Thanks Best Beach Getaways!!

We stayed 4 days 3 nights. Nice location.

Two rooms were great. The bunk beds were smaller than twin size and did not fit my teenagers. Also no closet in bunk bed room which made it very tight. There was no beach chair ser⁷vice as advertised but plenty of beach chairs in the condo. Accent wall panels missing on peninsula and kitchen floor areas in need of repair. Other condos we've rented in the area provided basic seasonings like salt & pepper, foil, cooking pil, tissues, napkins.

The unit seemed to be under renovation and the floor had cracks and some wall tiles off. Other then that it was amazing views.

Significant problems with the condo. Kitchen sink faucet wobbled and leaked. Pots and pans were so disgusting we had to buy some to use. The floor in the kitchen was broken and sagging in one place. There was little water pressure. Overall would not recommend.
