Stayed Mar 19, 2022I normally do not go into too much detail with a review because we are not that picky but I feel this place justifies it. Let me start with the positives. The location is very good. Steps to Lionshead and a short easy walk to the ski slopes. I was concerned about the walk with skis because of a bum knee but it was not a problem at all. The views are wonderful and it has a freakishly large private patio. Location to the hot tub/pool (pool closed in winter) was excellent. The Beds were very comfortable. Now the cons: When we arrived the place was dirty. The trash had not been taken out and there were crumbs on the counter top. Candy wrappers under the coffee table. We ended up cleaning the place just to feel comfortable. The place is outdated and a bit shabby. They would really benefit from a remodel and a new management company with a better cleaning crew. The heating system was awful. Baseboard heat that was virtually uncontrollable. Had to open doors and windows to sleep. Then it would get too cold. Lastly, the drapes in the bedrooms would not function and when I called the management company the response was was yeah we know, we are going to try and get those fixed this summer. Seriously?!?!?! We are on the first floor!!! To sum it up. Great place and location but desperately needs a remodel and new property management.
