It's hard to imagine a better Kauai setting, with mountain views that include waterfalls and Waialeale, and world-class surfing, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and casual dining mere steps away. You'll be a one-minute walk from spectacular sunset vistas over Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay, and a quick stroll on a paved path from a private Pali Ke Kua beach with incredible views and great snorkeling. On the grounds of the property, you'll find an updated pool and hot tub surrounded by tropical flowers and trees, as well as barbecues where you can prepare dinner as you watch the sunset over the water.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by lofty vaulted ceilings, a breezy atmosphere, and hues of blue and white that bring to mind the colors of the shore. Down half a flight of stairs is the main living space, where you can open the sliding lanai doors to let in the ocean breeze and the scent of flowers. There are thoughtful updates throughout, including new furniture, new electronics, a Bose speaker, and high-speed WiFi.

The refined, designer kitchen is open to the living room and dining room, offering exposed shelving, updated stainless steel appliances, and a peninsula breakfast bar for two. The dining nook has three walls of glass, allowing you to enjoy your breakfast, coffee, and newspaper with a lovely mountain view.

After a day spent golfing, kayaking, or snorkeling, you'll return home to a stacked washer/dryer for your clothes and swimsuits and an electric grill to begin dinner outside on the lanai. This newly tiled outdoor space is perfect for everything from morning coffee to drinks at sunset, with a vast yard, mature landscaping, tropical gardens, and sweeping mountain views just beyond.

At night, you can watch Netflix and cable favorites on the flatscreen TV before retiring to one of two sleeping spaces - a main bedroom on the ground floor and a loft room upstairs, each with its own en suite full bathroom.     This property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved having access to beach gear and the condo’s entry to Hideaway Beach.A couple of areas could use some improvement. The curtains could be updated, as there’s a road in front of the unit. The existing ones were older, difficult to close, and didn’t fully cover the window. Additionally, while the shower water temperature was adequate, it never got very hot.

    We had a wonderful stay. The condo is very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished. It had all the amenities one could want or hope for. Great kitchen, beds, baths, location, and access to the pool is a lovely added bonus! This was my sixth vacation on the north shore of Kauai, first time in Princeville. I would very happily stay at PKK 3 again, I highly recommend it.

    This is our second time to stay in Pali Ke Kua. This development is perfectly located - close to great beaches and Hanalei is just a short drive away. This unit was great for our family of 3. Clean and all the amenities we needed including beach chairs and snorkel gear. We hope to be able to come back soon!

    Could you spend more and get something ocean front, of course but you do not need to. The location is perfect for short walk for sunset views, hideaways beach, and queens bath. There is no AC and it can get warm late afternoon but the fans and once sunsets it does cool off.

    This was a lovely rental with many amenities and a full kitchen, which we really appreciated. Our favorite aspect of the place was the spacious main bedroom with the large windows overlooking the lush and beautiful plants outside. There were also aspects of this place which were less than perfect. Mainly the constant noise was a problem. At 5:45am the gardeners and pool workers would walk past our bedroom window speaking loudly to one another. There was construction happening across the street and they were blasting their music all day everyday. In the evening, the Pizza place adjacent to the property also blasted loud music until about 10:30. If we shut all the windows and doors, we couldn't hear much. The washing machine was also moldy but Vacasa was responsive and brought some washing machine cleaner. Lastly, to note for parents with young children, that the gardeners actively spray pesticides around the property. I had a conversation with one of them about this and he was pretty rude to me when I asked him to stop. It was a really nice trip and a very nice place, but I would choose a different location next time.

    Nicely renovated and clean condo in Princeville. Photos are a very accurate representation. Location is great - easy to walk to a variety of beaches and a short drive from Hanalei. Would definitely stay again!

    Location is everything, and this place has it. Way down at the end of the main road in Princeville, near by the new fancy hotel they're building, with a nice walk to the beach and beautiful cliff vistas along the way.
