Updated New Luxury Vacation Condo w New Kitchen Bikes & Beach Gear included

I’ve rented many properties in Shipyard, and this one rates at the bottom. The photos and description don't match what we found.We did pass along a list of items to be addressed and management has promised to do so (lights not working, missing pillow sham, loose flushing mechanism). It is in poor condition and needs deep cleaning and painting. The master bedroom window is so filthy you cannot see out of it. The floor is warped and peeling up in some areas. The walls are dirty. The king mattress should be replaced soon. The upstairs bathroom (not the master) has crazy strong water pressure. An odd complaint, I know, but my adult children told me it borders on painful (so it would painful for younger children). The dishwasher lower rack is very difficult to use as you try to pull it out and push it in. Both racks are rusted and should be replaced.The vertical blinds downstairs were so problematic, we just didn't use them. We left them as we found them.Positives - the bathrooms are updated. Having two double beds in the kid room was nice. Management brought blankets when we asked for them. The amount of living room seating was great for movie nights. Housekeeping had done a good job with the overall cleanliness. Our issues were beyond normal housekeeping and management. We feel the owners need to address larger issues. This unit needs a great deal of TLC to be worth the rent. Also the exterior (HOA issue) is desperately in need of repair.

Very responsive property management. Nice location relative to the beach within Dhioyard Palntation. A few little fixes—bathroom sink that wouldn’t drain quickly, exterior door you had to slam shut to get to lock, and dishwasher gasket falling off—would have gone a long way for a perfect stay!

The back sliding door is old and is somewhat broken. The binds on the sliding door were broken. The dish washer had dirty dishes in it on arrival. The front side glass window was so dull you could not see out. The big overhead microwave was out of order. We were very disappointed!

The Greens section of Shipyard is very convenient to the beach. Our stay was good for the most part, but the property does need some maintenance and a deep clean. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and the furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The televisions were all smart TVs, and streaming was easy for viewing. As for the maintenance items, most notably was that the blinds on the first floor, both the front and back of the property, were broken and didn't work correctly. The bed in the primary bedroom was very soft. The door latch to the sliding glass doors to the back was loose, and it didn't always close properly. However, the property manager was excellent in his communication both before we checked in and when we reported the maintenance items. For example, the microwave stopped working, and we got a new one to use that same day. Overall, once these maintenance items are addressed, this property would be a convenient, comfortable place to stay.

Great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable unit. Awesome kitchen. Very nice bathrooms. Lovely view of the golf course. Lightning fast internet!

Clean unit in an awesome location! Definitely recommend if you’re traveling with a small family!

This was our first time staying in The Greens at Shipyard and we loved it! Location to the beach was a short walk or bike ride. Being next to the golf course was enjoyable watching the people golf as we sipped on a cocktail on the back deck. The grounds were neatly kept, and we enjoyed walking on the bike paths. Definitely want to return to Shipyard for sure!

Nice condo, good kitchen for cooking, clean. Beds very comfortable, shower good. Best part was short walk to the beach.

Location is very convenient (beach, tennis, grocery). Property is nice. We would stay there again in the future.

The condo was very nice with an open design and comfortable furniture and beds. The condo is conveniently located for ocean beach access and pool access after spending most of the day at the beach.

Great location

Location was perfect. Smaller Shipyard community with an easy 10min walk to the beach. Nice pool for just The Greens within a 3min walk. Extremely clean for a pet-friendly rental. Spacious rooms. Well stocked kitchen. Extra towels. We enjoyed the private rear deck with views of the golf course. Evening strolls on the cart path was a bonus. A repeat for sure!

Very comfortable place to stay. Very nice walk to and from the beach. Would definitely stay again.
