Did you ever want to live among the trees This is the condo for you! 2 bed/ 3 bath unit features a wall of windows looking out upon the forest on this ground floor unit. The views are out every window (there are a ton of them) and are truly magical. It is a one of a kind experience! The newly renovated kitchen and new living room furniture are just a couple of the amenities you will enjoy while staying nestled in the pines. In kitchen you will find a island with 4 extra seating. Dining table has 6 seating so all the family can enjoy a good meal. The primary bedroom offers a king bed with en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has queen bed and en-suite bathroom. In the living room there’s a Murphy bed and full hall bathroom for convenience. You will have a washer & dryer in the unit.

For Winter reservations:
Iron Horse is located on the corridor run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park.
This corridor run (marked as a green run on the trail map) is about 1 mile long. Base of Mary Jane sits higher (elevation wise) than base of Winter Park.
From Iron Horse you ski down 1/4 mile to base of Winter Park, and to ski home you must go over the Mary Jane side to catch the corridor run. Iron Horse is located 3/4 mile down the corridor run from Mary Jane.
To get to the base of Mary Jane, you will have to be able to manage a blue trail. (just fyi)
You do also have the option to use the free shuttle offered by Town of Winter Park. Iron Horse Resort is on the “green line

For added convenience a full-service ski shop with rental options is located on the property. Washers and dryers are available on the second floor of the D building. Level 5 in the D building provides a room for ski storage and ski-in/ski-out access (green corridor). Locks for ski racks can be purchased at front desk for $35. The free Lift bus also picks up frequently at the main entrance for easy shuttle service to the Village.

With this rental you have access to 1-car private garage (just steps away from the condo) with keyless access, plus 1 additional outdoor permitted parking space to accommodate guests with two vehicles. Outdoor parking is on a first come first serve basis. Additional vehicles are not permitted. There is a fee for lost or missing parking pass

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

Winter Park Resort is only w miles away and the FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are 4.7 miles at Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store at Fraser is just 6.1 miles away.

Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage.

    Everything was great. Very cozy. The king mattress could use replacement (no cushion to it) and the kitchen sink was very slow to drain.

    Great location at the Iron Horse. Very clean and spacious and we had no issues during our stay. Is extremely comfortable for 6 people if needed. Because the snow was not that great this week the Mary Jane side was closed so we could only ski out and not ski in. The courtesy shuttles brought us back two days since the Winter Park bus schedule was iffy. Other than that we have stayed in this area before. The property management company was very responsive and even let us check in a couple of hours early.

    First, my husband and his creaky knees LOVED that this unit was on the ground floor. I don’t do well with the altitude at first, so this was a blessing to me as well. Parking and accessibility were great! There are pros and cons to everything though, so being on the ground floor means someone is above you. For 4/7 days, I think a stomping giant who decided to rearrange all of his furniture every night was up there lol! It was noticeable but not overly bothersome. Ok, and who knew a Murphy bed could be the most comfortable bed on the planet?!?! I actually ditched my hubby a few nights in the master king to sleep on the Murphy bed. The kitchen and layout of the unit was PERFECT! Plenty of room for our group to lounge, eat, talk, play cards etc. I gave the listing description a 4 out of 5 only bc it isn’t truly a ski in/ski out. Maybe I’m just ignorant, but I expected to ski right to the unit. It’s a short walk and a small-ish climb to get to the corridor, no biggie, but worth mentioning for someone who might be less laid back and adaptable than we are. The lift/resort entrance is a hop skip and jump away so we drove most days, super convenient! Town was a 10 min drive. Close to restaurants (we didn’t have one bad meal the whole week!) bars and shops. Water pressure was awesome and quickly warm. Love the three bathrooms. I never expected that to be so convenient. In conclusion we treasured our time here and will likely book again next year!

    We loved our stay here. The condo was very spacious, clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked for those who like to cook. The washer/dryer were also a bonus. We enjoyed the amenities onsite as well - the game room, steam room and jacuzzis. We’ll be back!

    We had a family of 6, kids and Grandparents. We loved the ski in ski out and convenience to the Gondola! The kitchen was amazing. Everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and liked having 3 bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stay! Of note.. we had to take our box off the car in order to fit in the lower parking garage.

    This condo was beautiful and spacious! It had comfortable beds and couches with beautiful art and an amazing kitchen. It was quiet and peaceful and on ground level, requiring only a few stairs to get in from outside. I would definitely stay here again!
