Unobstructed Ocean Views from Oceanfront Penthouse w/ AC

Host was excellent, responding within minutes of reaching out with question. Amenities were perfect and beautiful. Location was ideal too.

Amazing property! Beach front as described looking into a clean and quiet portion of Mission Beach. Located far enough down that it was a way from tourist traffic. Place was really well decorated with fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Master bedroom mattress was the only downside; it was thin and really firm, but the ability to have doors open to look directly onto the beach more than made up for it!

Amazing location, fantastic property, responsive host! This was an incredible family vacation, and if we come back to San Diego, we hope to be able to stay in this property again!

Everything was wonderful

We stayed in this beach house for the second time for our annual beach trip. We love this house. We travel to San Diego every summer for our annual family beach trip and this last trip was absolutely wonderful. The view from the house is spectacular. The house itself is equipped with everything you need for a family vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked. We did not have to bring anything from home. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious. The bathrooms are beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to stay in this house again many times. We love this spot on the beach. The property managers are very attentive. Any issue we had was resolved very quickly. The staff is responsive and professional. I have nothing but good things to say. I would highly recommend staying here. It's perfect for a family. The setting is gorgeous. We made many wonderful memories on the beach and look forward to staying here again next year. Thank you for a great stay. You helped make our vacation wonderful. I truly appreciate all you did to make our stay as wonderful as it was.

Unit was as expected. Great location. The dishwasher was broken and management company was understanding when we called them and schedule the repair. It would be nice if the street level seating spots were available with the 3rd floor unit. Also, loaner bikes would be a great additions.

We were blown away by how amazing this Property and Drift property management were. We have high standards and expectations, yet this was one of our best vacation rentals in the past decade in terms of the property and the property management company. It was everything the positive reviews and property description had to say; and, if anything, the great photos of this property can’t quite capture how spectacular it truly is.This is easily one of the top 5 beach front rental properties on Mission and Pacific Beach. It appears to be recently renovated, has all the comforts, accommodations and appropriations of home, has amazing views of the beach, ocean and boardwalk, is a short and fun walk to Belmont Park and the shops, restaurants, entertainment options on Mission Beach and is a slightly longer but doable walk or short bike or car ride to Pacific Beach and all the additional options there and comes with its own private garage parking spot.Also, the Drift property management team is the perfect balance of support, friendliness, responsiveness, accommodating and communicative without crossing the line of annoying or too frequent communications. If I owned a rental property in SoCal, Drift would be hands down my first choice in property management companies. They rock.Thank you to the property owners for opening up this beautiful and amazing home to us and thank you Drift for all you did to help make our stay so easy and accommodating. It was a truly special experience.

Our rental was spotless. The owners really put a lot of thought into the amenities and stocking the home with all of the necessities and more. Drift was very responsive to any questions we had. Check-in/out was easy. We would stay again.

This is a great condo- perfect location on the beach, spacious and nicely updated. Only one big issue for my husband and me- the mattress in the master bedroom is terrible. That alone would keep me from coming back, maybe not a deal breaker for younger people but those of us 50+ need a good mattress! So would love to come back if the master gets a new mattress (and pillows too really).

Couldn’t have asked for a better home or location for our family of four. Such a fun area and so much to do! And sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean was perfect!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a chance to return. With ocean and beach views, updated technology, a beautiful kitchen to cook in, and an easy check in/check out process this was a relaxing and memorable vacation. The rental was clean and well maintained. We had one minor inconvenience with the oven not working and management was quick to reply and sent someone out to fix first thing the next morning. Very happy with our choice and would recommend to anyone!

This place was perfect! My husband & I took our two college age kids for a week before school was starting back up. This apartment was great…located at the end of the beach so not as crowded, our porch overlooked volleyball nets that were so much fun to watch, and we could easily walk to a market, fresh coffee, Belmont Park (shops and restaurants). The provided garage had beach chairs, an umbrella, games, all for our use. The inside was AMAZING! Everything we needed to cook a few meals there, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked and ready to use. There were three bedrooms, and three bathrooms…modern, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Plus an office in the back with its own porch (which my husband used daily to keep up with work). Puzzles, games, lovely gas fireplace for chilly mornings or evenings, Alexa everywhere!, chargers, instant replies to questions, …seriously, this was a wonderful rental through and through…we will definitely be back!
