Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Sand Cay Beach Resort. Same unit and same great view. Same time of year also, the place and pool and beach are practically empty. Sand Cay is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping (if that is your idea of a getaway). It seemed to us that the couches and rugs had been updated since last year. All the required amenities are included if you choose to stay in and cook. All with the view. Even observed the outdoor grills being used this year. Not that Sand Cay has control over this next reason we like staying here is the wild bunnies that are in the yard every morning and evening, the dolphins swimming by, and the sunsets when Mother Nature cooperates. These views are from the beach, the balcony or the large picture windows.

Reviewer Comments: Great views of the Gulf.Things that could be improved:-owner never answered questions; we had to call the resort for answers-on the balcony bar stools should be provided so one sit out there and see the water-toaster from a time before electricity was invented-TV's had to be explained by a staff member who had to spend first several hours to fix them, get new TV box; still one never worked- missing beach umbrella which was present in other suites.Nevertheless we would recommend #303 to friends, we had a great vacation

The master bedroom is huge and the large windows meant we could see the beach from almost anywhere in the condo. Loved that the 2nd bedroom had twin beds for our boys. I’m not sure it’d be possible to get any closer to the beach. We loved the pool too, which was large and never crowded. The condo was clean with expected amenities. We did have an issue with small bugs on the kitchen counter and had to call the office twice; they sent pest control right away and it solved the issue. Our rental also included beach toys and beach/pool towels. I would recommend counter height chairs on the balcony so you can still see the beach and ocean when sitting on the balcony. Also would LOVE in rental laundry, but we did take advantage of the laundry facilities on site. The walkways around the property are very nice and well kept as are all the grounds. If you hope to see sea turtles, their nests are everywhere around Sand Cay and one evening we saw a huge turtle on shore laying eggs and watched her crawl back into the tide. Overall, we’d go back to Sand Cay and recommend it to friends and family.

Dirty and bug infested, my elderly mom was so nervous, we tried to stay out of unit as much as possible. The view was the best thing, very stressful vacation.
