Stayed Nov 1, 2024what a gem! i so loved our visit here! i sadly didn't spend much time - only two nights and one full day - but it was a nice time indeed. the house (#6) was so spacious - perfect for 3 adults who wanted their own space, but also wanted a place to be together at times. the grounds were lovely and the beach access, pool, and surroundings were also great. i love that it's outside the bustle of San Pedro, but it's a pretty quick drive to get to the bustle if you like. there's a convenience store a block away and a great new bar at the end of the drive (The Hula Bar - great food and drinks and prices that are reasonable relative to the area, or anywhere really), so you really don't have to go anywhere if you don't want. the property is quiet, well maintained and clean, as is the house. dining recommendations are provided in a welcome/information book too. check in and out were a breeze with the super friendly person in charge of such things, and they checked in via text/email to ensure everything was good. based on somewhat mixed reviews i actually expected a little less than i got so i was extra pleased with the experience. i'd like to note that people who mention bugs and lizards may not have traveled in the tropics before ;p there were some bugs here and there, but there was no negligence in preventing them, or any indication that they were present due to lack of cleanliness. i found everything to be quite in order and would absolutely pick this property to stay at if i return - even after exploring the area. the price can't be beat for what you are getting!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We didn’t mind the location as it was a little bit away from the constant noise of downtown. We wish the house provided better space like a clothing rack to use for hanging laundry to dry. Maybe even an umbrella for those rainy days. The grounds were kept very clean and put together. There was one day where there was extremely loud work being done on the property (cutting out and replacing some of the concrete pillers), understandable that it needed to be done but a little heads up or notice would have been nice, as you could hear anything while they were working and it would get irritating to listen to after a bit. Kind staff and pretty beach views.

Stayed Feb 24, 2024You really can't ask for a affordable place with amazing Caribbean ocean view. Even though our stay was too short we enjoy the dock and snorkeling right out your backyard. Being not far away from San Pedro city life but far enough to have peace and quiet makes this a perfect spot. Will come back in future. DW

Stayed Dec 31, 1969For the price I don't think this place can be beat! Very quiet rooms with comfortable beds a fantastic pool and a spectacular Beach! A couple odd things like the toilets didn't flush very well and the kitchen and living is a bit tight but otherwise truly fantastic!

Stayed Aug 13, 2022Learned from local residents who live in the building that all rentals were run by slum lords. The unit is supplied with the bare minim ( 1 towel pp for your entire stay), kitchen equipment was purchased on the cheap. 1 burner on the oven didn’t work, only 1/2 of the toaster worked, ,mismatched silverware, again supplied the bare minimum. There was a tropical storm for 2 days. Afterwards roaches started appearing in the kitchen. When I contacted management they told me that the rain draws them out. I talked with the local owners and others and everyone agreed that was BS. The owners obviously don’t fumigate regularly and more importantly take the necessary simple precautions to prevent this from occurring. I was told that you put drain covers over all of the showers/ tubs to prevent roaches from coming up. I will say that the manger responded quickly to my request to fumigate but it had a major impact on our ability to use the condo for the day. She said that they fumigate often but I don’t believe that is accurate. There are other places nearby for the same price that aren’t run this poorly and are a better place to stay. Again, I heard this from the local residents who lived in the building. So my suggestion- AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! A message to the owners- Take some price in your property!! Apparently you a have only been here 2-3 times; did you actually stay overnight in your unit and see how you could make some improvements to make the stay more enjoyable for the people that are PAYING YOU GOOD MONEY YO STAY THERE?
