Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

Condo is quite old and furnite have passed their best times, but overall OK. I needed the proximity to Sunset Beach, so overall a good stay.
Super easy in terms of process, condo’s location was awesome.
We stayed in our one room condo in June/July. The house was clean and organized. We were missing sheets for the couch bed and we finally got some after contacting the after hours people. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. There is only one ac unit in the bedroom but there were fans and open windows In the couch bed room to help cool it off.
Great location
The on line description is accurate. It does need some improvements. It is priced with that in mind. The location on the grounds is great, and the lanai is great. They do need to supply beach chairs and umbrella. We had to buy some cheap ones for our stay.
Thank you for the wonderful vacation
For the price we got what we needed.
Pros: We had a beautiful two-week stay at Turtle Bay, Estates in a nice location located on the 1st hole of the George Fazio golf course on the North Shore of Oahu. The condo was well cleaned with good security, parking, quiet and very comfortable. The price was very affordable and I found the staff helpful to meet our needs prior to arrival. Cons: The residence was built in 1973 and the appliances are in sad need of replacement. It was apparent that the owners were operating as cheap as possible putting little resources into the dwelling. Metal fixtures were rusting and paint peeling. The washer leaked (slightly) and the dishwasher did not work. When I called, the manager told me that they were awaiting a part which never appeared. Don't know why I was not informed from the beginning. The burners on the stove were replaced with universal burners, which did not fit, so we had to cook food sideways. The bed mattress sadly sags in the middle and needs to be replaced. The gate entrance codes given did not work initially (this also happened to several other renters) and we had to wait in the rain for a resident to open the gate. Once we had the fob, there were no entrance problems. It was fun to observe the two resident geckos. is what it is for the price. We were quite comfortable. If you are expecting a luxury hotel, you will be sadly disappointed. The condo quite adequately meets our needs in price, coziness, cooking meals, and a romantic location. I would stay again and look forward to returning! JP
The Estates at Turtle Bay was our host, represented by RedAwning Guest Services. The condo was run-down. Dishwasher broken, laundry machine leaks water, a/c missing in living room, screen door comes off track, cheap mattress, very cheap kitchen amenities. Two weeks after booking we received a letter from property management stating that they provide only two days of toilet paper, hand/bath soap, dish and laundry soap, etc. No hair dryers, lotions, shampoos, beach equipment, snorkel gear, or travel alarms. The letter also contained a disclaimer that appliances may not be working or will not be available, as was the case for the a/c in living room. Difficult to book something else as it was only two weeks before our arrival date. Getting a gate fob for easy entry to parking area should have been handled immediately, not 24 hours later. Paid way too much for a run-down condo.
Location on the first hole was good. After talking to Marianne the manager on the monday 13th January, who explained that BUDGET meant needs attention and upgrading I feel ripped off. I was not expecting huge soft towels, full length robes and slippers. I was not expecting toiletries and new appliances. I WAS EXPECTING a clean condo. I was expecting that appliances would work ( the dishwasher door is broken, ants get in between washes and it doesnt shut off) the sliding frame for the glass doors in the master bedroom was broken so the glass was separated from the frame. wind was coming in and it looked unsafe ( it kept us awake) so we duct taped it together until monday when they sent a handyman. The bathroom has dirty brown molding by the toilet which looked disgusting. Mirrors are so old they have warped a the edges - i wouldnt sell one at a yard sale in that condition. There were dead insects and dust in the bathroom lights ( which had mismatching shades) the toilet did not fill up properly even after the handy man tried to fix it. the Stove rings do not fit properly so you cook at an angle and burn your food. The Pans are completely scratched up. Theres dirt under the couch ( we ended up using that mattress on the floor as the other bed is worn out) and noticed it hadnt been sweped in weeks? or longer even. The cabinets throughout the condo mostly did not close and were coming aprt. In fact, the kitchen island cabinet door actually fell off. I did report it to the manager. The sliding doors to the patio need to be cleaned with Windex - not a dirty towel. The screen does not fit tightly to the frame so mosquitoes come in at will. we duct taped the 1/4 inch gap at night. I can understand that it needs upgrading ( ?????) but I dont find it acceptable that it was so dirty. I would like my cleaning fee back. I feel that our long awaited vacation to Hawaii was completely tainted because of the state of the condo. Other people should not have to be so disappointed as us. I talked to Marianne the manager and she was very nice but that did not change the filth we had to stay in on our treasured vacation.
