Stayed Jun 30, 2025Five stars for cuteness, cleanliness and amenities. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook - not your usual holiday rental kitchen. Also loved the little touches like beach towels, tote bag, dishwashing liquid etc. The complex is walking distance to the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay report, as well as the beach (across the golf course), and an easy drive to Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, and so on. (Good to know: only the bedroom has AC and it doesn’t really make it to the kitchen/dining area. I would also like to make a constructive suggestion: blockout curtains. The sofa bed in the lounge room is quite comfy but the room is in broad daylight by 6 am because the current white curtains let all the light in. A cheap set of no-sew blockout curtains from IKEA would do the trick - same in the bedroom - for those of us who like to sleep in on holidays!) But otherwise, really lovely - thank you for having us. Recommend!

Stayed Feb 4, 2026The property itself #125 in Kuilima Estates was very nice and in a great location. The home was comfortable and well situated. However, there were a few issues that made our visit more frustrating than expected. The listing mentioned that soap would only be provided for a few days, but there was no laundry detergent and no dishwasher detergent at all, so we had to purchase laundry soap for one load. In addition, there were no basic condiments or supplies that are typically found at a VRBO—no sugar for coffee, no salt, and no oil for cooking. There were also no measuring cups or spoons, which made even simple things like making coffee more difficult. It was obvious that the owners did no want you cooking at all, so if you plan to cook, be prepared to buy the essentials, or pick another one of these units. For a short stay in Hawaii, having to travel 40 minutes to go out and buy all of these items adds up quickly and becomes quite expensive. While the property itself was lovely, better stocking of basic essentials would have made the experience much more comfortable and guest-friendly.

Stayed Jan 21, 2026The place was clean. We had an issue where the keypad on the door locked us out and wouldn't work. It was afterhours (on a Saturday) and never got in touch with the host. The security at the complex couldn't help out and it was only when we asked a cleaning person that was next door if she knew how to contact someone that the code again worked. No response to my email that I sent or call to the afterhours was ever received. The only suggestion would be the mattress was a little too soft and it may be a good idea to invest in a new mattress.

Stayed Nov 19, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hawaii is a dream. This property is on the North Shore and convenient to everything North Shore and also within the boundaries of Turtle Bay with the finest food around. Love the space.

Stayed Oct 14, 2025No AC in the living room/dining area. AC in bedroom is loud. No dining table to eat out of, just counter sitting by kitchen. There's a safe, but prop management does not have key or even know anything about it. No shampoo offered, only a tiny little bar of soap. Only positive thing is the location...walkable to Kuilima Cove beach. Not worth the price charged.

Stayed Sep 23, 2025Kitchen was exactly how it is pictured on the website. It was very clean with plenty of utensils and dishes. Only suggestion would be a pizza cutter Entry to property is very secure and grounds are well maintained. There seemed to be a resident cat as well who was friendly from a distance Location is great on the north shore as we went back and forth between Sharks Cove and Laie.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025The location was good for 4 days on the North Shore. The beach was farther away than the listing suggests which meant driving. Great food trucks nearby but grocery store is a bit farther so stock up before you arrive.

Stayed Jan 3, 2025We loved the location close to the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay, golf, horseback riding, and the beach. It was nice to not have to drive too far. Easy drive to the grocery store and we even went to a movie while we were here.

Stayed Dec 24, 2024This review is not: discriminatory, inflammatory, offensive, or insulting comments. There is no reason not to post this:After staying at three different locations on the islands, we found this condo to be run of the mill at best. The fact that there was not an extra roll of paper towels, no coffee, sugar, creamer, laundry, pods, all of which were available at our other locations through VRBO . It seems the condo association manages this as a bare bones minimum. our Christmas Eve meal at the resort was overly expensive 700 for three people and was not nearly as good as other restaurants that were half the price at other restaurants throughout the islands.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location within a short walk of the TB resort and beach, and midway between La’ie and Haleiwa, is the strongest reason to stay here. Interesting walking trails ring the resort property. This unit #125 is bright, updated (loved the shower stall) and clean. For 2 people the layout is functional but unsure how it accommodates 4. Using the bedroom AC and fans kept the interior mostly comfortable until the afternoon sun flooded the living room. After reading reviews and receiving the contract from the management company, I had concerns about the stinginess of the amenities. For context, we’ve stayed in higher-end condos in Kauai, Maui (Ka’anapali), and the Big Island (Waikoloa). Welcome baskets are pretty standard, no? I never thought to pack shampoo and soap! Good news is it seems that there is more provided now than in the past. Dishwasher and laundry pods were provided (2-3 of each for a week stay). Coffee filters (no coffee or tea). One(!) roll of paper towels. Enough bath and beach towels. Nonstick cookware in newer condition. Two beach/lawn chairs. Safe required securing key from elsewhere so we did without. Our rental car suffered greatly from the birds in the tree over the assigned parking space. Pest control came in our last full day to spray. In sum, this stay exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations but fell short of our other (admittedly exceptional) island visits.
