The property is clean and well-appointed and located in a perfect location on Treasure Island Beach. We could walk to many outside bars and restaurants on the beach path (only Treasure Island has this in the area), and the heated pool was clean and accessible. It was exactly what it claims to be.
My husband and I just wanted a relaxing getaway at the beach. This was exactly what we were looking for. Our room was very nicely decorated and felt very beachy. It was very open and spacious feeling as well, but loved that you could still have privacy with the slding doors.
We had a great time! The unit was nice and clean. Very quiet area. If more than 3 people will need to get a 2 bedroom. Not enough room for suit cases. The room could use more electric outlets 3
Easy access to the beach, cute/quaint property, overlooking pool, right on shoreline w/ just a short walk to the beach and other restaurants/grocery store! Perfect for a small family of 3-4. Missing a few basic items but didn’t impact our overall satisfaction (ice cube tray, cooking spray, coffee filters, salt/pepper, blender).
We had a great time on treasure island and the room and property were very well taken care of. Thank you!
The property was clean and in a great location. We struggled to figure out heating the place as it was an unusually cool weekend, but finally figured it out. The building is older and uses floor heaters. The most frustrating part for us is that the owner has their ROKU TV locked out with a code and wasn’t willing to let us download YouTube TV so that we could watch NFL Red Zone on Monday night. There is a way to allow guests to use a “guest feature” but that wasn’t set up. So using your favorite subscriptions is a no go here. All in all an OK stay but will look for more guest friendly places as there are many options in Treasure Island.
Peaceful little place for a getaway!
This is the second time that I gave stayed at Tropic Terrace. I love this place it’s quiet and well maintained. The unit was beachy themed and clean. I will definitely be returning.
Check in process was super easy. Unfortunately it wasn’t until late that we noticed we did not have bedding for our second bed. We reached out via phone to property management. The after hours message said they would reply in a hour or we could text. I then texted the after hours number and someone responded promptly to my message and advised where the extra linens could be. I replied back with there wasn’t any. That was the last I heard from property management. I also e-mailed my agent and never heard a response. Therefore, part of our party had to go to bed without bedding that night. We also were only given one roll of toilet paper for our entire stay. When we asked. The response was you only get one roll per day. We stayed 3 nights. Sofa sleeper could use a bit of extra cleaning. Other than that, the location was convienent and parking was easy.
Not a good spot, dirty and disappointed.
