Texts, communication great leading up to and including arrival date excellent! Entry into unit with door code extremely difficult! Neighbors even tried no luck. Very cold outside about gave up. Called took a long time to get anyone on the line. Once did, I received text with instructions and it worked. Before the instructions was given backup codes to lock box that did not work

This condo was a great place to stay for our family of four. It was spacious, clean, and the hot tub was really nice to relax in. Loved the wood fire stove. Everything went smoothly and communication with Vacasa was great.

The Vacasa team really rallied around us. Our original booking had a water leak on the day we were supposed to check in and they found us another place that was even better than we could have imagined. It was moe expensive but they gave it to us at the same price as our original booking!! WOW! As for the new place….it was superb! Very clean! Excellent layout and convenient location. Thank Vacasa team for making our trip fantastic!

It’s a great location, easy to get everywhere. Has a nice layout and a private hot tub which is so nice! The cons, it’s outdated; outlets by the bed for usb / plugs don’t work in master. Outlets in master bathroom also weren’t functioning with my Apple charger. There aren’t towels for the hot tub so bring some if you can. We could not get the upstairs heater to work and when we arrived all thermostats were set to off, and the place was so cold. I contacted vacasa and requested some space heaters or additional blankets. They said someone would reach out to me shortly, but no one called. It was 59 degrees upstairs because we were able to get the downstairs ones to work and turned them up. There’s no comforter on the master bed and the blanket on it was not enough for us. We all slept in thick sweatpants, two of my kids had two layers too and bottom. We would stay here again, would just plan better to work around some of these issues. We drive to mammoth often so bringing a down comforter is not the end of the world for us. But as a suggestion to the owner / manager, we would say get space heaters, some more extra blankets, change the usb outlet next to master bed, the hot tub needs some love, pieces seem to be missing and there are some screws that poke out where you sit, all the firewood is exposed to the elements so it was soaked and unusable, maybe a tarp? For guests, grab some dry wood if there has been any recent snow followed by some warmer weather.

I loved the location - close to eagle Lodge. The beds were comfortable - the King bed is very soft, so if you like soft, its great. We brought our own extra blankets which helped, No seasonings or anything to cook with, a lot of locked cabinets so had to be creative with storing and cooking food. Seems they've upgraded some kitchen items so not as bad as I thought it would be. Hot tub was clean and worked great. I would stay here again.

The house is nice & accurately described. The master mattress is suitable for adults, the other mattresses are suitable for kids. The trundle is mattress is bare bones. The kitchen has plenty of silverware and dishes but underwhelming for actual cooking. No baking sheets or pans for cookies or brownies. Only a small frying pan, med pan, & a medium pot. Near useless cheap plastic spatula that melted in the skillet. The exhaust fan just blows back in your face with no filtration so expect a greasy hazy to fill up the living room if you cook dinner. Don't expect the $60 hot tub fee you pay to actually be used to clean or inspect the hot tub in between guests. Our water was yellow and we were there for 5 days. They never got the pool company to clean it. They offered an insulting $20/day refund for loss of the amenity. A private hot tub located off of the living room where all 4 kids can use and be supervised, is not a mere amenity. It's the defining feature and main draw of the property. So instead of daily hot tub time we got hours and hours of Paw Patrol. Which brings me to the 5 remotes for the living room TV with no instructions on what does what. I pity the fool who's not tech savvy to figure it out. Posted at all 3 thermostats: Set to 45 degrees to conserve energy when you leave. Which means when you arrive in the winter, the house will be a frigid 45 degrees! And because it has baseboard heating (SLOW) it will take 2.5 hours to get to 60 degrees & another 1.5 to finally get to 70. 3 hours until we could take off our winter jackets and start changing into our cozy clothes. There's a great fireplace and plenty of wood, but the housekeeper didn't leave us any matches, kindling, or firestarter. 4 hrs later the maintenance man provided these essential items. Right about the time I used my mcGuyver skills by soaking paper towels in cooking oil, lighting them on the cookstove to get a fire going. I called the VACASA 800 number every single day trying to get the hot tub situation worked out. I received exactly zero communication from the local management apologizing or giving a reason the pool company was coming and then didn't come. I had to argue and complain for an additional 15% rate discount on top of the $20/day discount. I'm still waiting for the $60 hot tub cleaning fee to be refunded. Otherwise the house mostly met expectations and the trip was good but I'd be wary of a VACASA run property in Mammoth in the future.

The house is fine, the hot tub is great. The mattresses condition is unacceptable. This is not a major remodel, go to the store and get new ones. For a place at this price range they should have been replaced years ago.

Awesome spot to bring the family, only thing that caught us off guard was no AC and it was a little hot, but besides that it was amazing!
