1st the heaters didn’t work, smoke detector removed from ceiling, old food in fridge, toilets are like a foot off the ground, and shower is a joke - you’ll spend more time adjusting water temp than you will bathing. Anytime someone else on the floor, not just the room, is using the water, you have to wait because it’ll turn to scolding hot or freezing cold instantly and it’s a tiny shower, so you can’t get away from it while the water adjusts. I thought the furniture was old. All in all, I think the owner needs to spend some money on his place for the amount of money he charges. By the way, your ski locker from the actual lift, is a 15 minute walk uphill to the slopes. The owner/manager did waive my cleaning deposit, he had maintenance fix heaters (thermostat does not work), but he did get it warm and he brought a new coffee pot because the one in condo didn’t work. This was my first time in Tahoe so maybe that’s just how the vrbo’s are. Next time, I’d pay more for a nicer place and hopefully a little closer to lifts. For some young guys and girls this is probably great place, but I was expecting much nicer than what it was.

We arrived in Reno and drove into Tahoe during a big snow storm. Which caused us to arrive after dark. The check in process, in the dark, was very difficult. So first you’re in building 4, but level 3 which wasn’t clear if we hadn’t spoken to the owner. After we got the key from the lockbox the directions say “go to the parking garage” which is attached to building 2, not clear in the dark. After we finally got our bearings it was easier. But I have to say none of the directions or building marking are very clear. The location requires a bit of walking to the ski lifts but manageable. The shops and everything surrounding the condo are fantastic. We ultimately just used an empty locker in the ski storage on the first floor of the building as there were no clear directions otherwise. Overall I’d recommend staying here, I’d also recommend updating the check in directions from the point of view of someone whose never been to the property before.

The location is great and the condo was true to the images and listing. Some of the appointments need a refresher (lights out, window sash’s not working 100%) but it did not detract from the stay. The living room space is great and proximity in the center of town can’t be beat. Hosts were responsive and checkin was easy.

We had a fantastic stay! Beautifully appointed with thoughtful designs and personal touches. It was exceptionally well-stocked, perfect for both short and extended stays. Coffee machine was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed, and the condo felt like home. The location in the heart of the village was incredibly convenient, allowing us to ski, relax, and enjoy excellent dining options within walking distance. The market downstairs was a highlight, offering a great selection of quality items. The shared hot tubs were a favorite, with amazing views of the slopes and snowplows at night. The condo featured two spacious, well-appointed bathrooms (one with a tub), three TVs with streaming services, and a large deck with mountain views. The heating worked perfectly, keeping us warm throughout our stay. Also, the internet worked great... you can totally work from here... which was a concern for Zooms, etc. The host was very responsive, though the check-in process was slightly confusing. Clearer instructions and a map would help future guests. Once we figured out parking, the underground garage was incredibly convenient, with plenty of spaces and elevator access. Additional reserved outdoor parking was also available. The nearby yoga studio, great coffee shop, and restaurants added to the appeal, along with the Mountaineer shuttle for easy access to other parts of Palisades and Alpine. This condo was perfect for a long weekend, and we’d absolutely stay here again!
