With 2 ocean view porches, we are located at the very TIP of Tybee on 19th Street and a few steps away from the beach.

The Space:

Welcome to The Tip of Tybee Townhouse!



With 2-story ocean view porches, we are located at the very south TIP of Tybee on 19th Street & a few steps away from the beach. US Highway 80 that runs from California to Tybee Island dead-ends into 19th Street. From the 19th Street beach entrance, you can turn LEFT towards Tybee Pier or RIGHT to the Back River. This property is walkable to restaurants & retail on the South End and Back River neighborhoods.



Guests will enter the home on the ground floor, next to the 4 car garage. Up to the middle floor you will find 3 bedrooms & 3 full, en suite bathrooms. The Master Suite with a KING size bed overlooking the porch with ocean views. The spacious bathroom has a large soaking tub, separate walk-in shower & double vanities with plenty of counter space.



Next to the Master Suite is the 2nd bedroom with porch views, KING bed & private bathroom with tub/shower combo. Down the hall is 3rd bedroom with 4 twin beds for the kids or single folks! This bedroom has an en suite bathroom with tub/shower combo. All bedrooms have smart TVs.



The elevator entrance is in the hallway next to the staircase. Located in the corner of this floor is the large laundry room with full size washer & dryer for our guests to use.



The incredible top floor is where our guests will do most of their relaxing & entertaining. The stairs open to a VAST living & dining space. Boasting high ceilings & a plethora of windows, the home is sunny & bright. Every room has a lovely view, whether old Live Oak Trees, cool Tybee architecture or the Atlantic Ocean; from any room there is beauty to behold.



Our interior aesthetic can be described with clean lines & classy décor. While it is uncluttered, there are plenty of books & games to keep folks occupied!



To the left of the living room is a wet bar & 4-seat high-top table & to the right is the dining room and ENORMOUS kitchen! The table is a perfect sunny spot for remote workers to connect & work. The house across the street is an OLD traditional Tybee home that is nice to view & contemplate its history.



The huge kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook up a gourmet meal, serve take out seafood or whip up some frozen drinks! The island seats 6 with an electric, glass stove top. The L-shaped granite counter tops have plenty of space for food, groceries & cocktails. Stainless steel appliances are all new & we have a large walk-in pantry including an assortment of cooking appliances (crock pot, mixer, coffee grinder, blender, etc). Plus, we have 2 coffee makers: a drip machine AND a Keurig.



The top floor has a grand porch with views of the Atlantic in 2 directions & a bunch of comfy seating. There is a building in front of us but our views to the left are fabulous!

There is a 4th bedroom with a KING size bed & en suite bathroom on this floor, as well. This bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Again, the elevator goes from 1st floor to the top floor for any guest with mobility issues. The home is wheelchair friendly except there are no grab bars in bathrooms.



The garage allows 4 (max) vehicles parked bumper to bumper (2 each side) & the owner’s have stocked it with beach paraphernalia, corn hole boards & a ping pong table! You will find a beach cart, with some chairs & beach toys.



The garage is TIGHT so oversized vehicles may be problematic but beside the townhouses is a huge parking lot w/metered parking.

NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly! We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort.

    Very tastefully done home with quality finishings. The elevator was the best part of the house as my elderly parents did not have to climb any stairs. The layout was also very practical for a large family vacation.

    This home is so beautiful and has everything available for a pleasant relaxing stay. The home is immaculate, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the porches with beach views in the mornings and evenings. Each of us had our own bathroom, which is a big deal with us. And Suzanne, our host, was very cordial and helpful throughout. We couldn’t ask for a nicer host. Our calls were returned efficiently and thoroughly answered. The parking was a minor issue since we had a larger SUV, but we were aware of the small garage and we managed that ok. Overall, a happy, fun, beautiful stay!

    Wonderful location and beautiful townhome. Parking in the garage is a real drawback! Too tight for even smaller cars. Several toilet issues, filling too slow or running all night. A few lights that don’t work or burned out bulbs and a sink stopper that doesn’t work. Loved having a large dining room table.

    This is a beautiful spacious property that was enjoyed by us all. The space was great for our group of four couples during the pirate fest. We could all eight fit in the kitchen are at the same time. The house was beautifully furnished, the beds were comfortable and the linens were very nice. Everything was wonderful about this place and our stay. This place sits on the southern tip of the island so the beach area was breathtaking. This place has the highest rating possible and it is well deserved. The only comment I have which has nothing to do with the dwelling is that 19th street was very dark at night as the only street light on the street was out.

    This house was just as described, steps from the beach. It was also walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It was spacious and clean. However, there were bugs in the kitchen area.

    Started this past week with teens, plus our elderly parents. The elevator was a Godsend, and it was easy for the parents to get up and down quickly and safely! We arrived the day before Hurricane Debby. The property manager Suzanne kept in contact with us through the entire storm, kept us prepared with what to do if we lost power, etc. (which we never did! While garage is tight we were able to get 3 SUVs in with no issues. Great location only steps from the beach, and a short walk into town. All in all a great place to stay!

    3 friends and I booked this place due to it's proximity to the beach, amenities, and closeness to things on Tybee. The home was lovely, comfortable, and as advertised. The kitchen was fully equipped with plateware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc (not something I always encounter!), and just a few basics for seasoning (mostly from other guests I think). There were a lot of rules with the home, but they were clear and easy to comply with. Hosts were very accommodating and communicative. Garage had a bunch of stuff to use at the beach which was appreciated!

    Excellent house and location. Clean, surprisingly quiet, ~200 yard walk to the beach at the interesting southern tip of Tybee Island. We may return.

    Lots of gathering space and a huge kitchen / dining area. Really nice to have coffee filters and coffee to help us get going on the first morning. Right at the 19th street beach access (25 yards). Close walk to the beach pier and shops. 0.7m to the little IGA grocery store. The beach chairs and bikes were perfect and made things easy. Hoping they swap out the front door lock as it’s hard to open, even after knowing to turn the knob to the left and to push the thumb latch really hard. They are serious about the garage doors being TIGHT for bigger cars. I never did get my Honda Pilot inside. Overall = great property that I’d highly recommend.

    We had a great time at the property. Everything matches to photos and beyond. One of the nicer beach properties we have stayed at in Georgia. Plenty of room and the porches are great. Didn't think about it while initially reviewing the property, but the elevator was handy to transport luggage, groceries, etc. to upper level. The beach wagon and chairs were a nice touch and having the garage made for easy load out to the beach, which is less than 30 second walk to the boardwalk. The garage is tight for larger vehicles, you could fit multiple smaller - 4 door type sedans in garage but don't think anything else would fit. If have a larger vehicle, there is parking immediately adjacent to the property. We downloaded the parktyb app which was very helpful. Note $42.50 for a full day of parking if use public spots. Suzanne the property manager was great to work with. Had a few questions and she responded quickly and was very helpful. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again. Liked that was on quite end of the island but a short drive to restaraunts, etc.
