The Islander 317 - Beachfront Condo w/Balcony Views + Free Local Fun!

Very clean all around! Lots of items available to check out at front desk including basketball, boogie boards, beach stuff. Our room had an extra beach umbrella and chairs in addition to the umbrella and 2 chairs that were included with the beach service. No food/drinks on site but close proximity to plenty of local restaurants, grocery, and attractions. Not a fan of 10am check out, but it was easy and instructions were clear.

Clean, good location, great view and everything we needed was in the kitchen.

The positives:- Great beach location, well maintained property and 2 pool areas- Easy check-in, and clean / updated unit- Easy parking- Friendly staff and guestsThe not-so positives:- The bed frame was broken on arrival, causing the top middle of the bed to sag, making it feel like you were sleeping on a negative incline. After 2 nights of this, I removed the mattress and box spring, and bent the frame support back in place, which worked for the rest of our stay.- There were pretty much no consumables provided other than an initial roll of paper towels and a single extra roll of toilet paper. No surface cleaning spray or trash bags, so you'll need to bring those with you or purchase them along with extra TP and paper towels. I sent a message on the VRBO app to the host and never received a response.

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and pool, plus close to shopping and restaurants. Our family loved the pickleball courts and organized activities. It was exactly as described, and we would definitely return!

Property was very nice and check-in was VERY easy. House cleaning did forget the last guest wash cloths, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first went into the master bedroom we noticed there was what looked like a blood stain on the white blanket on the bed. We went to the front desk and the woman working the desk was very helpful and apologetic and found someone to get into the Islanders linen close. At first this second person told us they only had sheets and that we needed to just use whatever was in the closet in the room, however someone did end up coming to the room while we were out and removed the stained blanket and remade the bed with a fresh one. Next issue with the bed was when we actually got in it later that night. We laid down and immediately noticed that our feet were higher than our head ands that the bed frame was not level. We got out of bed and on the ground to look under the bed and tried to fix it ourselves the best we could. It looked like there was the original frame for the bed and then part of another metal frame that had just been set under the bed to try to provide extra support. Please just get a new solid frame for the master bedroom. Everything else about the condo was good. The bathrooms were clean, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed and we liked the overall decor.
