Do not stay here. The parking is terrible to start off ( you only get one space per condo not two like VRBO said on listing, so parking is $15 per day two blocks away BEHIND Walmart) The washing machine and dryer are tiny and left grease marks on our clothes and they did not work well. The dryer timer did not work so it ran until you turned it off. Who wants to do that on vacation! The condo was old and dirty. Dead roaches on the floor. Sofas were gross. Mold in the shower. Dryer sheets were stuck in all of the air conditioner vents. The toilet stopped up and guest services told us we had to contact our own plumber to the tune of $185 the Southern Vacation rentals said that we should have told them. Instructions for this whole rental were unclear. The codes emailed to us were all wrong and we could not get into the condo, pool or beach The swimming pool was dirty and cloudy and by no means a resort pool. What a joke. Didn’t even use the pool. Overall this has been the worst beach experience ever. DO NOT STAY HERE.
This condo is terrible. There was green mold growing around the indoor pool. Reported and still there day 7. You couldn’t see your feet in the outdoor pool for the chlorine. About 4 different door codes quit working we just left it unlocked. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Shower head busted, shower curtain rings broken. Kitchen utensils are ancient. Cabinets paint peeling. My dog has better living room furniture. I paid six thousand for all this. Southern Vacations are nice people but that’s as far as it goes. Go anywhere but 705 at the Enclave.
Great location and gorgeous views!
Our visit was wonderful! Will definitely be back!
We loved the decorating and location and such, but during our stay, apparently something in our unit was leaking below and all week we had maintenance in and out with blowers loudly going where we had to shout over them and equipment and cords everywhere. Made it really hard to relax and enjoy what we paid for. The guys in and out were great and not their fault, but really took away from the trip. Also, just some constructive criticism, the pool lit up red is very off putting…maybe blue like the area pools would be more inviting. Lastly, parking shouldn’t even have to be a concern when you pay that much to stay somewhere and it wasn’t addressed as a potential when we booked. No one should have to worry they wouldn’t have a space to return to when on vacation. The maintenance men were extremely nice, but the whole thing was frustrating
great place to stay we had 3 vehicles not enough parking
Loved the condo, but if you went out at night you probably would not get a parking place in the lot when you returned. And the overflow parking was over a block away at $25.00/night. Also, mattress in master bedroom was in desperate need of a replacement.
The best place to stay! We loved it!!!
The space was great as well as the building and area. It’s an older condo, but we were fine with that since we were spending most of our time at the beach, pool and out and about. The surfaces were clean, but the floors turned out feet black after the first few hours since they were not mopped. It grossed us out. The dishwasher was also broken, so we had to hand wash all the dishes that week. The handle was broken on the vacuum, too. Overall, it was fine. We just expected more with the price we paid.
Ice maker and video game did not work. Check out time was too early
