Stayed Mar 28, 2026What we loved about this property was access to the beach, the ocean view, the cute decor, and the accessibility to the the rest of the island. The owners' communication was excellent, which we really appreciated. A small but also appreciated amenity was that there was a nice TV in both bedrooms, as well as in the shared space. This owner also provided games and books - a great perk! We would love to see an upgrade on the lanai furniture, which was metal and very uncomfortable. Part of the value of the property is the ocean view, which was great but would have been more enjoyable had the furniture been more accommodating. We did appreciate that there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. There should be 4 chairs for a property that sleeps 4-6.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025Captiva is beautiful. First time there. Power outages were at least once per day during our visit. One time in the middle of the night for several hours. This meant no AC for quite some time. Per a neighbor at the building, it happens at least once per week on the island. Other than that, great unit and beautiful weather.

Stayed Aug 1, 2024This was our first trip back to Sanibel/Captiva since Hurricane Ian. We have stayed at the South Seas in a different condo and this one is far superior! Love the decor - just as pictured. Very clean and spacious! Bathrooms were clean and AMAZING water pressure! Great view of the sunset and the ocean. We actually rode out tropical storm Debby in the condo. We lost power for about 2.5 hours but had wonderful communication from the host about restoration efforts. Despite the wind and rain, we had a great time!
