The Beach on Longboat Key #227 Resort by RVA

The area and condo was perfect. The property was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

the beach view was gorgeous from the dining area - not the deck. the beach itself was beautiful and very quiet. The main TV we could not get cable on - only repeated LG channels. Had to watch tv in the bedroom, very uncomfortable. Very little room in the bedroom - King bed was a bit big for the area and the switch for the overhead fan didn't work. The pool was dirty with sand and bugs.

Nice place. Well appointed and as advertised. No check in information was automatic. We had to call, then drive to another location to pick up a packet to get in. That was kind of weird but it all worked out.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, on the beach. There was a problem with keypad entry upon checking in, maintenance came right over. It’s a small condo but was good for a just a few days, W/D in very small closet in condo would have been challenging to use long term.

Great location and great views!

Very nice place

The view is beautiful and the beach was quiet. All the furniture is worn out and uncomfortable. Condo appeared clean when we arrived, but there was old food on the pots and pans. Also, the nonstick teflon flaked off the pans onto all of the food we cooked. Pans need to be replaced asap. You’re paying for the view, direct access to the beach which was great.

Right on the beach which was great. Balcony was so small that 2 people cannot sit side by side. Needs new bedding as there were big rips in the bedroom comforter & needs some beach towels. Instructions to get keys were very confusing. Thought we could check in at the condo office, as we have done before. Didn’t know we were meant to check in with RVA. Won’t be back.

It was ripped and place smelled mildew.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow I have emailed RVA two times telling them how dissatisfied I was with their company. No one has bothered getting back to me. The communication was so bad anytime we tried to call the person would say oh the managers are in a meeting so you can’t speak to them we’ll get back to you, which they never did, I came last week We were informed late on Tuesday that the water was going to be turned off, but no exact time we had told them that we’re leaving Wednesday never told us what we needed to do. We were getting out before the bridge closed and the hurricane came. No one that seems to work there cares about the people that are renting from them and I will never use rva again or tell anyone else to use your rva again. The unit had a great view, but it was dirty. The comforter on the Murphy bed was torn underneath. I wonder if the owner of the condo knows how mismanaged their place is. Lastly other than us showing up to get our keys, no one was ever in the office

And the walk to the beach is very short. The room we stay in has a washer & dryer so bathing suits are fresh, we can eat in or go out. We appreciate being able to stay in such place.
