Surfmaster 111 - One-bedroom, one bath oceanfront condo

Beautiful oceanfront room with comfortable bed and furniture! Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances large and small you would need ! The balcony Is huge and the access to the beach and pool is very simple. We will be visiting again. On a side note - parking can be tough , we had a parking pass and on 2 seperate occasions had to park away from the building. Once we parked in front of the building which was ok other than they have small wooden post alongside the parking spots and in a taller SUV I was unable to see one of the post on my passenger side and severely damages the side of my car trying to pull out of the spot the next day Just be careful for this !

For comfort, the living room couch and chair could use updating. The one bathroom is off the master which makes it awkward for any overnight guest. Being right above the hot tub might be a concern from a privacy standpoint. The view is excellent. You could not get much closer to the beach. The bed was comfortable. The shower has been updated. The Owners have included everything you need and did an excellent job decorating and with little things that make the condo very inviting and homey. The view is more than camera worthy. Overall positive review for our one month stay!

The only problem I have is that the unit was advertised as 1 and 1 1/2 baths. They did NOT mention that the owners of the units lock off the 1/2 bath. This was a problem one evening both my wife and I we have potty problems. The two bathrooms is one of the main reasons that I rented this beautiful unit. However, I this time I am formally requesting a partial credit due to not having two bathrooms as advertised. You should have been more truthful about the bathroom situation. Also, the unit is directly above the jacuzzi and other vacationers could look into our unit. We could not sit on the balcony without people looking at us. Considering that this was THE most expensive one bedroom unit - asking for a partial refund is not a stretch. I am going to continue looking at this unit to see if you change your description to ONE BATH. Additionally, we had to call maintenance to eradicate an ant problem. You can check your maintenance records.

We always rent a 1-bedroom,and were excited that this particular unit had the bedroom oceanfront instead of in the back part of the unit. However, being on the 1st floor, which is one level above the pool/hot tub area, turned out to be a bit inconvenient. People standing by the hot tub could see directly onto our balcony and into the room. We just felt that we lacked privacy being on the first floor. I would still recommend this condo if this is something that wouldn't bother you.

This apartment is very nice with attractive furniture. My only concern was the TV's which I had a hard time trying to find out how the controls worked.

There is a huge lump in the middle that feels like there's a whole person under the mattress. I couldn't recommend this unit to a friend right now with the mattress the way it is.

The condo is very beautifully furnished with extremely nice art work and had everything needed for the week. My wife is a HGTV watcher and decided the owner must have had the place staged. I found the furniture comfortable and the bed provided support for good night's sleep. We have stayed at Surf Master for over thirty years and this was the first time we booked the same apartment for next year before we checked out. A well doneis extended to the owners.
