Surf Master 1108 is a three-bedroom, three-bath oceanfront condo located 1.2 miles north of Garden City Pier. This condo features a fully-equipped electric kitchen complete with granite counters, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as a washer, dryer, luxury vinyl plank in the hallway, kitchen, and living areas, carpet in the bedrooms, large furnished balcony assessable from the living room and master bedroom, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Other amenities include four TVs (cable) and private Wi-Fi. Sleeping accommodations include one king, one queen, and two twin-sized beds, plus one sofa bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Common areas feature two elevators in both towers, two oceanfront swimming pools and hot tubs, two parking passes(some covered parking) 7-foot clearance. This unit is located in the south building. No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 8

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this location several times over the years. For me in particular I luv the lounge chairs. Everything seems to be in pretty good shape but since we started their when the place was just remodeled I noticed some things are getting a little worn. I believe the mattress in the main bedroom could be replaced (upgraded). I also think the outside deck chairs are due for a replacement. Overall none of that is a gamechanger for us. If we go back to Myrtle we'll probably try to get the same place.

    That wasn’t very nice to arrive and see the pool empty.Also, for the amount of rental fair, I shouldn’t feel like I need to strip the beds pile of linens take out the trash.

    We were informed that the pool may not be accessible during our stay, one week before we were to arrive. We would not have stayed there if we knew that was the case. There was one pool for two buildings. One day that was in the high 70's there were 21 chairs for two high rise buildings. I was told by a tenant that the pool had been under construction since November! This information was not disclosed to us upon renting or prior to our cancelation period. We would have canceled our reservation and either gone some where with a pool or paid a lot less to stay at one without a pool. Very disappointing and we will not rent here again.

But since you asked I'll give my assessment. The three things that stand out to me is I think the mattress in the main bedroom should be upgraded. It has seen better days. I would like to see is basic cable added. It would be nice to just turn on the TV and get main stream news and current events. And possible some better furniture on the outside deck. But as I said earlier it's still a great place to camp out at the beach.

We were dismayed that after waiting past check-in time, there were areas that were not cleaned very well. We also noted the unit is showing wear and tear. A new coffee pot would also be a welcomed addition. We had to search for it, only to find there were 2 we had to piece together.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd time that we stayed in 1108. We really enjoyed both of our stays. The condo was updated, clean, and well-equipped with everything that we needed. The elevators were quick and easy to use for a building of this size. The views were amazing! Wow! The only problem that we had was with parking. We should have had two parking spots with the 3 bedroom unit that we rented, but many times there were no parking spots left at the end of the evening. We and many others were left to park on the street. Thank goodness we found a spot and didn’t get a ticket. So for our stay, parking was a challenge and inconvenient. Other than that, it was perfect!
