Surf Master 910 Beautifully Renovated 2-Bedroom Oceanfront Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting through Garden City Realty and everyone we spoke to was kind and helpful. We will definitely rent through them again. This was also our first stay at Surf Master. We enjoyed this building and area and would stay at this property on our next visit. As for the unit, it was very clean and we loved the spaciousness. The new living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed in dishes and utensils and my family did love the large tvs. The master bedroom had plenty of room however it could use a ceiling fan. It was hot in that room even with the ac on 72 and the mattress was Extremely Firm. The one disappointment was the lack of furniture on the balcony with only a table and 2 chairs, everyone didn't have a place to sit.

I had to buy a air mattress to be able to sleep. Main room furniture was very uncomfortable. When sitting on the furniture you would sink down in the couch or love seat.But with that said the property and condo were great and would stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, I would likely say that working with Garden City Rental is the best possible experience for a guest. They do everything possible to make the stay as wonderful as it can be. I will always rent through GCR. Unit 910 at Surfmaster was fairly clean and conveniently located. Many items were available to the guests, including paper products, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, extra linens and towels, etc. The view was amazing and the general property was fabulous. However, there was a musty or mildew type smell that was very strong in the unit. Clearly, the owner was aware and had placed air purifiers/humidifiers inside the main rooms. The filters in these machines also smelled horribly. I am sure the property owners and managers have done all they can to make this better, but it is so pervasive that guests need to spend as much time as possible away from indoors...and that beach is the perfect place. Also, the beds weren't particularly comfortable...but the living room furniture was worse...especially the couch that makes a bed...very uncomfortable for sitting. I have stayed in many units at Surfmaster, as I visit a couple times a year. I will not likely stay in unit 910 until the source of that smell is addressed and there are updates for the furniture.
