Surf Club I - 1107 Beautiful Ground Floor/Ocean View/Huge Patio/Wi-Fi

Enjoyed our stay, loved the condo on the beach. Communication was great

We stayed for almost 1 month. When you rent somewhere you have to remember there are the potential for problems, just like at your own home. The important thing is how the owner handles any problems that arise. We had a couple of issues but Rhonda did everything she could to make sure things were taken care of as quickly as possible and we have no complaints.The condo is decorated well, had all we needed, the bed was very comfortable, the beach is a very short walk and the patio is amazing. You can see the ocean and hear it.Most days the beach was like a private beach with few people. We would definitely consider staying again.

Despite the chilly weather, we totally enjoyed our stay at Surf Club. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool is beautiful, (and warm!) and everything is well maintained.Our unit had a perfect view of the ocean from the kitchen to the master bedroom. We awoke to the sunrise over the water every morning…what a way to start the day! The condo was clean and comfortable and our hosts, Rhonda and Michael, were always gracious and available.We are already looking forward to staying here again next year.

My hosts were quick to answer my questions and solve problems. First, the problems. Upon arrival, we did not have access to the patio. I had no idea that the door from the living room was locked from the outside and the handle on the bedroom door was broken. I called the owner and he sent over his handyman. The handyman took the handle from the living room door and put it on the bedroom door and we could get to the patio through the bedroom only, as the living room door needed extensive repair. The TV would not connect to wi-fi. The owner gave me the number to customer service. They checked everything out and the wi-fi was good, so they gave me the customer service number to the TV company. The TV company emailed a link to virtual troubleshooting and I followed the steps and solved that problem. Now for the good stuff. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated for Florida. The ocean view was beautiful. We enjoyed the awesome sunrises with our morning coffee from the patio. St. Augustine was a straight shoot along the coast and very easy to get to. We spent 3 days there. My favorite thing to do was collect shells. The boardwalk to the beach was close. Shells along the rocks were plentiful and I could fill a small bucket in ten minutes. I collected about 5 buckets of pretty shells to take back home. I even found 2 crab claws. My husband enjoyed fishing. We came from Michigan to check out the weather and it did not disappoint, neither did the condo.

I loved my stay here! The condo was clean and pretty and so was the beach. The area is peaceful and was the perfect place to get some R&R with my family. The owners are very nice as well. Thank you! I hope to get to come back some day!

This unit was just as described. Plenty of room for the two adults and four grandkids ages from 19 month to 12 year old. Kids had a great time. Grounds are well kept and some of the most amazing sunrises you will ever see. Look forward to staying hereagain.

The owner was very helpful with any problems we encountered as we arrived. The beach is not family friendly. If you want to go to the beach with small kids or special needs individuals, hop in the car and go about 2 miles north to the beach near Marineland. That beach has the easy access from sand to shore and back.

The condo is perfect for 2-4 people. The layout is very nice and tons of places to sit! Kitchen was very nice. Had everything you needed to cook with including salt, pepper, pam spray. etc. You literally just need to buy food and drinks! Very convenient having a washer and dryer too! The patio could only be access through the master bedroom, so be prepared for that. The patio is huge!! It also is much more private than what appears from the photos which was a nice bonus. The beach is not a far walk but be aware there are rocks, but it can still be enjoyable. There is also a public beach you can drive too that is literally minutes down the road. Another big perk is the pool is a very close walk. Just make sure to keep the key with you or you will be locked in! I discovered you have to unlock the door to leave too! Overall we loved the condo!! It has everything you need and its close to anything you want to drive and visit! And I just want to say the owners are wonderful people too! They were so good responding back and giving us help or suggestions for anything we needed! Thank y'all so much for letting us stay at your wonderful place!!
