Stayed Jun 9, 2026Requested early check-in if available as we arrived to Destin very early in the morning. Around 1:50 in the afternoon I had asked if it was possible to get into the condo 2hrs before normal check in because the cleansers were done. I was told it still needed inspected so we sat in the lobby with our stuff and groceries for 2 hours (hoping telling them that they would let us up) at like 3:56 we got a text that we could get in early, walked up to room & code still wasn’t working it finally turned at 4! Got in got our belongings put away, walked the grounds. We knew there was construction so expected that. The pools were very dirty and cloudy (we normally end our beach day in the pool) and didn’t because of the condition. The living room furniture is not comfortable and very sticky due to the leather not ideal for the beach. The images under the listing state complimentary beach chair service that’s NOT true & was a main reason we booked. After contacting host we were told it was ai generated & they would buy us tiny beach chairs from the gift shop no umbrella that we would have to tote back and forth daily, not be able to bring home oh and sit all the way in the back of the beach. We declined and booked chair rental for the week for 200 and asked for reimbursement and at first were told no then finally they only agreed to reimburse 100. Very disappointed in the whole stay and won’t be recommending to anyone unfortunately for this host

Stayed Apr 11, 2024the condo overall was ok and the view was excellent, but really needs better furniture that was more comfortable. Kitchen chairs are metal, and the other furniture isn't much better. Never could figure out how the smart tv worked, but we weren't there to watch tv so that was not really an issue worth asking about. Bathtub is very high to step into the shower, really is a safety hazard, it really should be converted to a shower. I am 6 ft tall and gouged my knee the first time I used it. The building itself needs a complete renovation and it really shouldn't be open in the process. The pool/splash pad area is very old and outdated, the wooden stairs to the ocean were being worked on while we were there and the landscape is not maintained much around the property. When you walk down the front walk, tiles are loose and everything is just very old looking. The pictures must have been taken when everything was first done years ago. We had a great time in Destin, but definitely wouldn't recommend with how it all looks now.
