Summer & July 4th Savings at Beachside Colony Tybee's ONLY Oceanfront Resort 2/2

This property was very nice. Close to tennis courts and other shopping areas. Nice access to beach and pool area. Would stay here again.

Great condo, pool area, and beach access. The restaurant was very good and a nice bonus. We loved it all!

We had easy access and were close to the beach along with a grocery store nearby. Our kitchen had every gadget and device needed for cooking. Our first floor unit was close to the large parking garage. Up to date magazines were there to show us where to eat, rent anything. Furnishings were very pretty and comfortable. So convenient! I wish the listing had shown us all the different types of available units in the complex so we had more choices of where to stay. We didn’t find out the number of our unit until we had signed the agreement. The agreement showed smoking permitted on the balcony but other booklets said not allowed. I might have chosen a different unit on a higher floor if I knew for sure. I sent in a question concerning military discounts, but never received a response. Our listing said beach view, but the restaurant building obstructed any view. With no phone number available for inquiries, making a reservation without enough information was difficult. We did, however, enjoy our stay and my husband smoked his pipe at Jaycee Park.

We had such an amazing time with beachside colony resort! Definitely planning our next visit!

The property is as advertised. It was clean and spacious enough for four people. Conveniently located right on the beach with two pools, one heated. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking meals. This is a first level that overlooks the courtyard, but your view of the water is blocked by the buildings. Even so, it was still very nice to sit out in the mornings and in the evenings. It is 1.3 miles from the south beach pier attractions, which may be a little far to walk some people. Tybee charges for parking everywhere. Small, but well stocked IGA store within walking distance. The description mentions umbrellas and chairs are rented at the resort and not provided in the condo so we knew this going in, but we prefer having these items in the condoand this is the only reason I gave it a nine out of 10. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff is very friendly.

Reviewer Comments: Had a nice time here, place was clean (floor need mopping) but was very neat and clean otherwise.Had a bulb in the master bath that wouldnt stay on and they quickly came and replaced it with one that strobed like a dicso LOL....did leave it on and left the room and it finally stopped so we just left it on except at night.Has nothing to do with the room but the birds were awful around the restaurant and actually in the pool...diving and darting very close to everyone....mating season maybe?Hopefully not like that all the timeAll in all it was a nice place and would have no problem coming back....but just wow on the birds

It was perfect location. Room was very nice. Everyone was super friendly. My only complaint would be the floors were filthy. Couldn't walk barefooted cause your feet would be black in an hour. I would stay there again though!

Enjoyed the condo! It was the third place I rented after the two hurricanes ruined my stay in Florida. Didnt have the best of views but the beach was a very short walk. The condo was stocked with everything you would need. Good restaurants near by and just a short drive into downtown Savannah and the River Walk. Would stay here again.

The place was spacious, clean, had everything we needed and within all spots we love to go while on Tybee Island. The most important part for us was the accessibility for our son who has a physical disability. All parts of the facility were easy to enter and exit, especially the pool area. We were so happy to be welcomed into a space where our son could enjoy his time, too, without having a hard time. Any time we had a question or needed help, the ladies in the front office were always kind and super quick to get us what we needed. We especially loved the short (but beautiful!) walk to the beach! We cannot wait to come back here and stay soon!

Mostly enjoyed the property. Cleanliness or lack thereof was an issue. Tile floors left bare feet dirty black.
