Stayed Jan 18, 2026Condo was very well laid out. Kitchen well equipped. Louvered glass windows allowed for fresh air flow. Cameron was very responsive to my requests for island map and bus schedule.

Stayed Aug 12, 2025Princeville is an amazing place and the neighborhood this property is located in is what everyone imagines Hawaii landscaping to be. Property is at a dead end drive so there is no traffic. Right out the front door you can take a very short hike down to the water to turtle cave and see turtles. Shopping center 5 minutes from the property. Endless beaches, hikes and food options just minutes from the property. Communication with the host was excellent. They are very responsive. The interior of the property was as advertised and is reasonable given the price per night. Our only suggestion would be installing an ac unit in the front room as it can get pretty warm when you use the stove/cooktop and dryer. We will stay here again next summer. North shore of the island where this property is located is the greenest and prettiest side of the island. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Stayed Jul 10, 2025The unit was clean & well-maintained. For a 2 bedroom it is very spacious. The complex is quiet (except for the roosters of course) and well-positioned - while the unit itself doesn’t face the ocean (the mountains are visible in the distance) it only takes a few steps in any direction outside to see (and hear) the ocean. This was a great place for our family to relax after each day of exploring the island. I wish that the Princeville development was more pedestrian-friendly - getting to some of the beaches and coves require circuitous walks on roads without sidewalks, though the (somewhat treacherous) hike to turtle cove is right across the parking lot. Overall great experience and good value.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025Easy check in, just used our emailed access code. Loved having laundry facilities. Happy we stayed in Princeville. Beautiful grounds. Lots of chickens/birds. Condo as described except the air conditioning was in both bedrooms, there was no air in the main living room as described. Evenings weren’t bad when there was a breeze though. There were beach towels, beach chairs and scuba gear for us to use which was great for our purposes. Adequate towels and basic kitchen supplies. Happy our oven had an air fry option! We ate breakfast in the condo most days. Stopped at Costco and Foodland for groceries. Overall, very happy with how easy everything was.

Stayed Apr 15, 2025What you don't see in the photos is that A) it's in a nice enclave of well-maintained condos and B) you are up on a bluff with just a short (steep) hike down to the ocean, Turtle Cave, specifically. Do it if you're agile and the ground isn't muddy. The ocean is all around you! Somehow, from this perspective, the ocean feels more vast than viewing it from ground level. And the iconic, lush Kauai mountains are everywhere! Wherever you look, the mountains rise up in the near distance. And wild chickens run free, all around the island. Expect to wake up to the sound of roosters. It's delightful and I miss it already. The unit is open and offers the basic amenities and starter supplies of things like, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, etc. If you outlast that supply, you'll need to replenish for yourself. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, all good things in the unit.It was super easy to get into the unit and the management company was delightful and helpful throughout.Go, bathe in the sounds of the ocean and a million beautiful birds.
