SUGAR PALM SUITE ~ Adult Only, Cozy 1 BR, 1 Ba w/ Kitchen and Community Pool!

Loved the resort! Very clean and good location. Would be perfect for a large group to rent out all 6 units together and share the common space and pool. Only negative was there is nowhere to store luggage and the check-in instructions made it sound like there was. Once we arrived we asked for luggage storage as mentioned in the instructions and were told they could not accommodate and referred us to the concierge. So I asked the concierge and they told up to look up luggage storage online. Miscommunication had us lugging our suitcases for a mile and half around town waiting for our unit to be ready. So, store your luggage elsewhere...but the stay itself was great!

Perfect location in Key West, very easy to get anywhere from this location. Inn keepers were very receptive & quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Concierge service was excellent as well!!

Lovely property. Very clean. And we loved our large well decorated room. Balcony’s are amazing too! We had a great stay. The only thing that made it difficult was the noise level. It’s almost like there is 0 sound proofing and any car or ambulance that went by felt like it was in our room. There was also a strong smell of floor cleaner or polish throughout the whole place.

This property is a dream. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and relatively close to everything. It’s very quiet. The pool is a nice amenity as it gets pretty hot at certain times of year. Looking forward to my next stay.

We are very happy with our stay! Property was beautiful and well maintained. We did not hear people in the other suites but we did have a 8-10 person group of obnoxious visitors who did not respect the quiet rules. They had us up on several occasions during our stay.

My husband and I started each day of our stay with coffee on the front porch and ended it in a comfy bed with a Goldilocks mattress. Close to everything, convenient parking, super clean, nice pool - the Sugar Palm Suite was almost perfect. The one and only annoyance is the sound transfer from an interior door that connects the suite and the studio. Luckily for us, the studio was only occupied one night while we were there so it wasn't a big deal. We're headed back to Key West shortly and I was so disappointed to find this suite unavailable. It truly is the closest thing to home away from home I've ever found.

Clean and spacious room, pool was amazing, always had towels and cold water available. Very close to Duval Street, but not too close. Also close bike ride to the beach. Had an amazing time!

Check in and communication was a breeze. Suite had everything you needed. A grocery store was a short walk away. Ice for coolers or otherwise was provided on site. Pool area was clean and well kept! Will definitely bring others and book again in future.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Key West! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, from the interior to the outdoor spaces. The location was perfect: tucked away in a quiet area that felt relaxing and private, but still just a short distance from all the action and excitement of Key West. The management company was very responsive and professional throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best of both worlds in Key West.

Really loved this spot. Super walkable to all the restaurants and bars as well as beaches and attractions such as the Lighthouse or Hemingway House. Property itself was very charming and the pool area was amazing. Very peaceful stay in a quiet part of town. Communication with owners was great. Would definitely come back.

We recently stayed at The Travelers Palm and were very impressed with several aspects of our visit. The property is beautifully maintained, with clean, well-manicured grounds and a smooth, easy check-in process. The suite was comfortable and located in a prime area, close enough to Duval Street for convenience, yet far enough removed to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were outstanding, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful in providing everything we needed for our stay. That said, while we genuinely appreciated the experience, we likely would not choose to stay here again. The suite we occupied was connected to an adjacent studio via an interior door, which unfortunately offered very little sound insulation. Although our neighbors were not loud, we could clearly hear every conversation, cough, and sneeze, and assumed they could hear us as well. This lack of privacy was a concern. Additionally, the WiFi was extremely unreliable, and we experienced little to no cell reception throughout our stay. While we understand connectivity can be a challenge in parts of Key West, this was by far the weakest signal we’ve encountered in our many visits. We reached out to the host about the issue and were informed that IT support would look into it in a few days, but unfortunately, the problem remained unresolved during our stay. As someone who relies on internet access for simple tasks like checking the weather or booking local excursions, this was a significant inconvenience.

Great place to stay, easy walk to everything or you can rent a bike or golf cart. Kitchen was nice size to work in, but we ate out almost always because of the great selection of restaurants. Cabins seemed to be newer, very clean and well maintained. Each of the three cabins is divided into a studio and a one bedroom apartment with a suite door if you rent the whole cabin as a suite.

Suite, pool, everything was perfect. Super relaxing place to hang out in between activities. Only thing we were missing is a first aid kit which they should fix asap!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Palm Suite. The bed was comfortable! We enjoyed having our coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch. My favorite thing, however, was the pool! The location was ideal and convenient!

Very happy with location — close enough to Duval but far enough for more quiet. We were able to walk to nearly all restaurants, beach, and other attractions. Check-in was easy, communication ahead of stay was clear, place was clean & had everything a traveler needs to feel at home.

The home was spacious and surrounded by tropical

Booked for wedding in Key West. Within walking distance to Duval. Water machine was broken but was fixed in a timely fashion. Couldn't locate grill or laundry even though it was listed on property map. Had to walk to Laundromat instead. Kitchen was missing a spatula and some other items. Overall a very place to stay.

Overall, the accommodations were very good. The facilities were well-maintained, the grounds were beautiful, the check-in process was simple, and the location allows easy access to everything on the island. My only complaints are (1) the walls between units are thin and poorly insulated. We go to sleep by 10 pm, and noise was often an issue even when our neighbors made an effort to be quiet. If you stay here, I would recommend booking an entire building (2 units with a connecting door) rather than just one unit. (2) The wifi signal was poor. Email worked fine, but streaming was difficult some nights.

Like a small house rather than an apartment, this property was in walking distance to restaurants, sites and everything we wanted to do in Key West for 4 days. Well equipped, the hosts were communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place!

Communication was great, checkin was a breeze, the property was clean and in a great location.

Our stay was wonderful with a fully outfitted condo. The common space was well kept with towels, ice and water easy and readily accessible. The location was perfect with the ability to walk or bike (rentals available close by or through rental). Read reviews before regarding hearing the other condos and found it was due to adjoining units (door in hallway connecting suite to studio). It’s a great layout if your traveling with friends or family and want everyone to have space but access. We simply closed the bedroom door and turned on sound machine (provided). We had the suite so maybe the studio has more sound bleeding through. Either way it was no more than what you get in a hotel with adjoining room doors. Would suggest adding a thick rug and pictures in hallway (could even put sound protection behind picture frames). This would likely “collect “ a lot of the noise. The two porches were great ways to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner or snacks in the evening. Great Cuban restaurant at corner. Would stay again.
