Amazing place to stay, excellent experience!!!

Everything was great. The unit was very nicely remodeled, very clean. Heated pool was nice extra. Location was good once we found it. Maybe some additional directions & outside sign picture in advance with the name.

Everything was great! The only thing was the pool was chilly. The sun shades over the deck were good but they covered the pool that it was too chilly to get in even though it was hot outside.

The place was beautiful and close to everything especially by bike. The room was clean, decorated very nicely and bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

The property was very quiet and peaceful. The room was immaculate, bed was comfortable, microwave, fridge and coffee were a plus. We enjoyed having coffee on the private porch in the mornings before setting out to go sightseeing. The pool was nice to come back to at night and relax.

Room was great! Clean and comfortable. Pool was refreshing. It’s located just right where you can walk to see the sights and there is a nice Cuban restaurant just half a block away.

Clean and quiet Well appointed. Shades on windows need to trim from bottom up. Would provide privacy from alleyway and permit sunlight into room.

The location was the best! Centrally located to all of the action, yet private and quiet. another world sitting by the pool with the lush foliage all around.

It was no contact to let yourself in. Felt very private and safe. Went to Key West for my Birthday. The pool was warm for this very cold weekend. We brought our bikes so everything was within a 2-6 minute ride or 16 minute walk. We couldn't have picked a better place or location (parked our car and never moved it). Bonus: no laundry list of things to do before you check out! We'll be back. Thank you.

We stayed in the Sugar Palm Studio which was steps from the pool. The studio decor was relaxing and offered perfect amenities including good sized mini fridge, microwave and dinnerware for two. The pool was always at the perfect temperature for relaxing and surrounded by greenery and cute areas for private seating. When I couldn't figure out how to use the Keurig, management was quick to stop by and help me with my user error. Would definitely stay here again!

Unit was super clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed and more. We had a small hiccup at the beginning of our stay, but the host made up for it which we appreciated very much especially since customer service isn't what it used to be these days. VRBO was of no help when we had a problem. But again, the property and the host made our vacation a memorable experience for our first time in Key West. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here!

We stayed there before and wanted to stay again. Very lovely. Maybe stay a little closer to the State Park or a little closer walking to things next time, but we always recommend your place. A few tweeks that could be maseConfusing communication. The patio chair very broken,no dishwashing soap. 1 tiny bar of soap for shower.

We enjoyed the place

The property was just as pictured. The host was wonderful, kept us up to date on what was going on at the property. The pool was just right. Would definitely say there again.

We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. We loved the pool and the location. We ate at El Siboney's (just steps away) and it was delicious. We were a little disappointed there was no table to eat at in the room. There are tables outside but its too hot to eat outside IMO. I dont understand why you have a kitchen and no table? It would be so easy to add one plus a 2nd chair. Why not have 2 so a couple could enjoy a meal together without having to eat in the bed?? The only other issue was we woke up the last morning to tiny ants all over the kitchen countertop. We did not leave food out unopened. We tried to wipe them away so we could enjoy the yogurt & berries with muffins we had purchased and had in the refrigerator. Overall, a nice relaxing place to stay.

Easy street and property parking first come first serve. We never had a problem. Pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. Room was excellent bed very comfortable. Kitchenette did the job! The ice machine and filtered water machine was a huge plus! Not having to buy water is fab in a place like Key West! And all the ice you could possibly need. The location is fantastic not far from Duval street! I will be staying at this location again!

We were very pleased with our stay. Property was clean/exactly as pictured & well maintained with staff there daily cleaning pool/washing towels. The water & ice machine were such a nice touch to combat the heat. ((We aren’t able to find the bikes - you can rent them for 10 a day))

I have seen many changes to the island and have stayed all over the historic area. One change I have noticed is many of the accommodations have been updated and maintained better throughout the years and this place is one of them. The studios and suites have been nicely updated with modern bathrooms, kitchens, linens, etc. The pool area was clean, shaded, surrounded by a well kept garden area. The filtered water and pitchers provided was a nice feature as Florida tap water isn't the best. The location is near all of the main attractions (restaurants, shops, bars, etc.) yet in a very quiet neighborhood. Many things are within walking or biking distance. I chose The Sugar Palm Studio because the door is literally right at the pool and the waterfall making the outside deck a nice place to relax. I would recommend this place for long or short term stays.

Fabulous stay. Property is wonderful. Great distance to be able to walk. Description shows grill but did not find it. I hate to take away from the rating but….Water pressure in shower is terrible. Nearly impossible to wash my medium length hair! Ice machine and filtered water is nice touch.

Great location, quiet, relaxing pool, beautifully landscaped, perfect sized room, clean. Enjoyed our time here!

There are some maintenance things that need to be done around the property. Our gate was broken (didn't latch) and our door on our studio didn't always stay latched if it wasn't locked. The room was clean and it was a convenient location. The pool was fantastic and the property was private and relaxing.

Loved the convenience of being so close to town yet secluded! Glorious pool with beautiful landscaping. Pool could have been a little warmer and needed to be cleaned after wind / rain, but other than that, great.

(Rent a bicycle from Eaton Bikes as they will deliver them inside the locked gate and then pick them up) The common area was peaceful and an extension of the rental. It was truly a great pick. The bed m, however, was way too firm. A topper would have put everything to rights, but was not available. Because you are limited to 72 on the air conditioner, we took the comforter off, doubled it and put in along the center of the bed to use as a softener. Not perfect, but a tad better. If we stayed here again, we would have a topper predefined just for the comfort. I usually seek bed comfort in the reviews, but took a chance. All in all, it was still an enjoyable time.

Our room was perfect for the short stay.Finding a parking spot was a little challenging but once we found a spot and got settled we ventured out to explore the area.We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Room was nice, had everything we needed. Pool heater was down for the first day and a half of the stay. No biggie. We had a guest knock on our door on the second night as we were talking at a normal level and watching TV around 10:30pm asking us to keep the noise down, cause the walls are paper thin. Sort of a buzz kill having to worry about normal noise levels bothering other guests. There are gates all over the place too. Not a huge deal, but sort of annoying having to open 3 gates to get to the room. Our room had an emergency light right above the bed, It had a green light that would glow at night, didnt keep us up, but some people may find it annoying. Overall a nice stay, and we'd probably stay again, but just be aware of our previous experiences.

We had a great stay!! The room was the perfect size had a kitchenette in. It was very clean. Property was very clean and had a pool. Only complaint would be our cottage had an adjoining cottage that had a door that separated us with a lock, which was fine, but the walls were very thin. Literally, you can hear the other guest conversation at a regular tone voice.

This was such a beautiful property for our first time to key west. We came during fantasy fest and the location is perfect. Just far enough from duvall for peace and privacy but close enough that we weren't far from all of the fun. The pool was great and all of the little lizards were so cute!! We would definitely stay here again. seeing

We absolutely loved it here and can't wait to go back. The pool was perfect; partially shaded and just the right temperature, and the waterfall provided great ambiance. Having a semi-private porch was awesome, and the room itself was pristine and extremely comfortable. We will return here for certain, can't wait.

Sugar Palm Studio is one of six studios tucked away on quiet Catherine Street. The room was lovely, with a king-size bed, a small, fully stocked kitchenette area, and a huge, modern bathroom. We had a small private deck overlooking a gorgeous palm-tree-lined patio with a contemporary pool and waterfall. The staff was very responsive and kept the place beautiful. We'll be back.
