Sugar Beach Comfortable & Affordable Family Complex on the beach.

Older facility but nice first went here in 2010 and it hasn’t changed much very good place for the price Nice pool area and easy beach access . Pull out bedwas not in good condition, but that was my only real problem.

Old furniture and fixtures. Furniture needs to be replaced, as it is worn and stained. Need to clean under furniture... couch under was nasty. Picture misleading... thought it was ocean view. For short stay it will do as it was economical. I loved orange beach itself. .

This two bedroom, two bathroom condo was enjoyable to stay in. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishware. Even though the condo was dated and could use some updated decor we had fun and enjoyed our time there.

It took multiple attempts to get check in instructions, which was also mentioned in other reviews. The day before our arrival we finally got the instructions, but it was for the people that stayed the week before us. That worked OK but the condo door is opened with a code number, and the code still worked but that meant that the code had not been changed between guests. If you stay here ask to make sure that they changed the code since the last guest. The owners also asked for permission to come over to swap out some furniture in the middle of our stay which did not work at all for us since we either were not at the condo and had left stuff like computers out, or we were planning a romantic rainy afternoon in the condo. Generally the condo was well equipped except the furniture in the living room was not comfortable and the green recliner in particular could use a deep cleaning or replacement. There is a large building being build next door which was not a problem in the condo but out by the heated pool there was a lot of construction noise during the day. Great location on the beach.

We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the heated pool. The condo suited our family of four. Having the washer and dryer allowed us to pack light. The weather wasn't great we were there but we kept busy in the area every day. We had groceries pre-ordered to pick up at the Neighborhood Wal-Mart just down the street. That made it easy to settle in quickly. The owners were very quick to respond to texts. The A/C went out but was fixed the next day.

I liked that it was on the beach and the amount of swimming pools they had. Nothing negative here!

It was exactly as advertised. I recommend. Lots of room and comfort, direct access to the beach, clean, always safe. The people in Gulf Shores / Orange Beach are the friendliest ever!

Great place to stay, easy acces to the beach and 4 pools. Entrance to the beach and lower level pools floods during a rain storm, but not to bad to deal with.

The place was cozy and felt like home away from home. It had absolutely everything we needed!

All was fine, only issue was long waits to get the elevator on departure day. 30 minute wait and a 20 minute wait.

We absolutely love coming to orange beach Alabama and have been coming for a few years now every 4th of July week and we will be coming back again. This was perfect just for my husband and I.

The property was nice. It fit all of our needs. The closet and storage space was nice to have. We will stay here again

Let me just say the owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions- came out when we had door issues. The property is very run down in general and construction had all but one elevator down.

Very short walk from the room to the beach. 3 pools. Short drive to restaurants, shopping and the State Park Pier. Room was clean and comfortable.

Sugar Beach itself is outstanding. It's our favorite place to stay in OBA. I've stayed in several different units here; this is my least favorite. The unit was dirty, specifically the twin bed room and the smaller bathroom. There was a used vape and candy wrappers under the twin beds. The smaller bathroom shower was gross. I cleaned myself instead of reaching out to the property manager. I asked her a question prior to our arrival (no response other than the automated response set to be sent). I feel like it's probably a fluke but that was our experience.

SHOULD NOT BE advertised as sleeping 6 the fold out couch mattress needs replaced, it is not even an option to sleep on. It’s a mat that has springs coming through. We had to go out and buy an air mattress that we slept on the whole week . Closet door was not on the hinders and about fell on my year old grandson, shower in master bathroom is so incredibly small if your over 5 foot and 100 lbs you can’t turn around in it . Floor was dirty , filter in furnace looks like it had not been changed in many months .

This condo was filthy, non stocked with the few items it listed! Furniture and bedding is so old and worn out

The location was great, with an easy access to the beach. Very nice to have a washer dryer in the unit. The back bathroom has a very tiny shower, difficult for grown man.
