Enjoy beach living in this designer 2br+1ba beach home located in the heart of La Jolla, less than 1 block to famous Windansea surf/swim friendly beach. Other highlights include convenient ground level unit, professional coastal design, wood flooring, Samsung SMART TVs (with cable), garage parking, dog ok (unfortunately no cats), & sleeps 6 (4 adults max) including dual Cal King beds. *Note no A/C though floor fans are provided

INTERIOR
As you enter this convenient ground level designer home, you'll step into a spacious main living area with beautiful new wood floors, plush sofa bed, accent chairs, & new Samsung SMART TV. *Note fireplace not operational.

Off the living room is a separate dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances & access to the side walkway. Both bedrooms feature a huge Cal King sized bed with a high end new plush mattress & Samsung SMART TVs. Off the hallway is a full bath (tub/shower combo).

1 Garage parking space, approx. dimensions 7'11”w x 6.5'h x 18'deep. Nearby overnight street parking is permitted at no fee.

Some of our favorite nearby eateries include Busy Bees bagels, Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, LJ Crafted Wines, Wheat & Water wood-fired pizza, & Duke's La Jolla family eatery. Also just a few blocks to Valley Farm organic grocery market & butchery shop.
• Activities
Within 1 block to famous Windansea beach, which is both surf and swim friendly. Also nearby visit La Jolla Cove, with great snorkeling, swimming, & kayaking.
• Attractions
Just a few minutes away is the Village of La Jolla, with endless shops & entertainment. A quick Uber ride South will get you to Belmont Park's big dipper coaster and all new Plunge pool. Other attractions include ~10min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~20min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~15min drive to Del Mar fairgrounds and racetrack.

POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• Guest Requirements | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multigenerational families).
• Occupancy | Maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (i.e. includes both overnight guests & non-overnight visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• Noise | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• Combination Listings | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.

    Good, not great. That’s probably the best summary of the condo. The location is good. But the condo itself is just okay. We had a lot of ants and the water pressure in the shower required planning with other users in the building. Overall, the condo doesn't really justify the price.

    We loved the location and the kids loved walking to the beach. The place had almost everything we would want. The only thing keeping this from a full 5 star review is that multiple mornings we would wake up and find ants. After the first morning we made sure not to leave any food out (which is hard with kids) but still continued to have issues throughout our stay. Other than that the stay was great.

    The unit is very nice and is conveniently located about a block from the beach. It’s been updated with Cal King beds in both rooms. We arrived to screaming, crying and children running, non-stop, in the unit directly above us. We immediately contacted the property manager. We weren’t able to reach anyone directly and were forced to contact the after hours number. The property manager spoke with the family the next day but the noise continued with little abatement. The above mentioned noise began before 5:00am and continued intermittently until 9:30pm. We again contacted the property manager through the VRBO interface and no one responded for three days. Finally the noise stopped when the family above checked out. We were in the unit for 7 days, and dealt with the noise for 5 of those days. Obviously, there is a noise issue with these older units. The owner should consider noise abatement systems and full transparency to prospective customers about this issue.

    Great location if you like the ocean! Literally walk 2 blocks and you're there! Property is quaint. A few quirks that come with a home that is at least 50 years old, like mushrooms sprouting out of the baseboards. But overall, for the location and amenities, a great value with all of the comforts of home! (bring a power strip if you need to charge electronics)
