Steps to Pool & Ocean! Coastal Gem in Galveston

It is a nice property overall. Disappointed with the cleanliness of our condo and there was mold around the air conditioning vents, and it smelled like mildew when you walked in. These are things that can easily be taken care of with management. Beds were a bit uncomfortable (sagging in middle) and bed linens could be upgraded. This was a first-floor unit which is nice, however, if you have people above you that are not respectful of people below them, you get to hear a lot of heavy walking and kids jumping at all hours of the night. Other than those items, it is a nice home away from home with all the amenities and would recommend to others. We would probably stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at this condo in Galveston! The unit was very clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect with easy access to the beach—just a short walk away. The pool area was also a big hit, clean and relaxing. Check-in was super easy, and the communication with the owner, Bob, was excellent. He was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free beach getaway!

Great location

We enjoyed the stay it was very clean.Was very well stocked. were not very far from the convention center where we were to be everyday for dancing. The owner was very friendly and would respond to us right away.

My family stayed for 5 days. We loved the place. The 2 bedrooms both with king beds is really hard to find. The place was clean and comfortable. The location by the pool was awesome.

Great location and property with a very responsive host! Having the pool right outside the condo was wonderful. The beds weren’t the most comfortable and the unit could use a deep clean but it was well stocked with lots of extras to use at the beach.

We loved our stay here. Cute little condo with a great pool and hot tub. The owner was very nice and helpful. My daughter asked if we could stay there every time we go.

We had the perfect stay in Galveston! This condo had everything we needed from the stocked kitchen to all of the beach accessories! The condo was very clean and in a great location! The owner was easy to communicate with and had great suggestions to make our stay even better! We will definitely be going back!

We've stayed at this complex several times over the years, and this unit is definitely one of the best. First and foremost, Bob and Lillian were fantastic hosts—easily the most accommodating we've ever had. The beds were comfortable, and the home was spotless and nicely furnished. Being on the first floor and so close to the pool was a huge advantage, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. Without a doubt, we'll be staying here again.

Great place. But did not like the fact we didn’t know the hot tub wasn’t working until we were waiting for it to get warm at 9 pm. Very disappointing. $40 to park seems excessive. But the condo was beautiful and kept very clean. No complaints about the condo itself or the owners. They kept in great contact.

Our stay was fabulous. This is our second time to stay at the Dawn condominium. It has a very easy check-in process, it has two pools and a weight room that my young adult son took advantage of. It is just a short walk across the street from a nice Beach. And right across the street from Walmart for easy grocery access. The room itself, room 811 was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was very well stocked any utensil or dish you could possibly imagine needing including a Keurig AND traditional coffee maker. My family made much use of the toaster that was a nice touch that you don't always find in some condos. The guest closet contained items that could help enhance the trip such as beach chairs, umbrellas, board games, etc. If you are traveling with a small child, there was even a high chair. The host was very kind & more than helpful in providing the proper codes and even went above and beyond to offer suggestions for the area. I coukd go on & on, but I would highly recommend Dawn condominium room 811 (Dover's Corner) to anyone. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Meason!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Info was great, from necessary codes to condo info to local attractions and recommended restaurants. The cleanliness and supplies were very appreciated. Had everything from trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, cookware, plates, Coffee, laundry detergent, dish soap and on and on. Additionally, they provided games, beach towels, toys, boogie board and chairs, pack n play, high chair, other items which saved us from hauling more on vacation. The pool is beautiful and well maintained and we had a front row seat to it. The only item I missed was a hair dryer but was not a big deal. Appreciated the communication with owner and highly recommend.

The location close to the pool & beach was wonderful. Very family friendly!

The condo was very ,ce. Good size bedrooms with their own bathrooms. we don't drink coffee, but thought it was nice of owner to provide it. Gives guest time to get to grocery store. Beach towels, cooler, etc. were great Especially if you are flying in and not driving your own car. TV in bedroom closest to parking lot was not working- I checked connections and it would turn on, but then kept cutting off. Tension rod with bathroom shower curtain fell down and I couldn't get it to stay back up. The pool was really nice. We'd definitely recommend you and would use you again, if we were going to be in the area. Thanks for your hospitality!
