Steps to Beach & Pool! Colorful Galveston Retreat

Checking in and getting a parking pass was cumbersome!

We were charged a cleaning fee as part of our room charge. Arrived to find a “tip jar” for cleaning staff & notes pinned to the walls, throughout the condo with instructions on how to clean up after ourselves. We also received visitors prior to our check out time, who were the next guests staying in the condo. They were told they could check in early. What??? What a cluster of confusion that turned out to be.

This property was PERFECT for our family of 5 with 3 teen boys. It was spotlessly clean, had a stocked kitchen that lacked for nothing (table settings for four and a few chipped plates, so we used paper plates), a working ice maker that makes plenty of ice for 5 large water bottles, plenty of beach towels, enough bedding and tons of space. Easily walkable and extremely close to the beach and a crosswalk right as you leave the gate next to the building. It has been beautifully furnished and it's really lovely. I'm already planning to book again for next summer!

The apartment was very clean and well laid out. We had a great view of the pool. Will definitely stay here again.

The guy at the check-in desk was very rude, started to give me the wrist bands but ran to the pool for over 30 minutes.We were unable to adjust the thermostat and left a few messages with the host, no reply, so it was HOT. The sliding glass door was off track and very difficult to move, so we had limited time on the patio.

Quick trip before college

The condo was great and the location was fantastic. The only complaint is that the track for the sliding door needs to be cleaned because the door is extremely difficult to open and close. Otherwise it was absolutely fantastic!

The condo was clean and easy to access. The pool was well maintained. It was an easy walk to the beach!

- The check in/out was smooth, everything automated, no surprise- The host was very responsive and accommodating for a late check out- The place was as described and as expected- The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked, way better than average- The sleeping experience was good: comfy mattresses, dark curtains and blinds, no noiseWe always choose the dawn for it's clean grounds, easy access to everything.

Everything was as expected. Clean condo, safe , secure facility with a great location.

The condo was perfect in location and amenities. Beach access was a quick walk across the road. Next door was a Walmart and a corner gas station so everything was within walking distance. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and helpful.

We had a great time! The sliding glass door needs attention. You have to lift and pull to get it open. Other than that nice place. Wish you had an elevator! haha

This condo is spacious, honestly had everything we needed and then some. The picture from the balcony doesn’t do this place justice, you can see the beach really well. The only issue is the sliding glass door. My 14 year old and my mom could not even open the door which meant if they wanted to go on balcony and we weren’t there or awake yet they had to wait. Hopefully this get fixed since it’s been mentioned before but other than that we loved this condo!

We are so close to the beach. The basic necessities for a family and a short stay are here. Pool area is a great. Close to restaurants and grocery. Be aware that this is a 3rd floor condo and requires stair climbing.
