The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing.
We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average.
Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you.
In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options.
It's tough to find a better view of the Folly Beach sands and surf than the top floor of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas! This three bedroom. three bathroom condo is a calming and comfortable place to relax after a day at the beach or one of the two oceanfront pools offered by the complex. With each room equipped with its own bathroom, this vacation rental has plenty of space and privacy for the whole group. You won't want to miss a morning cup of coffee and an evening beer or wine on the beachfront balcony.
Charleston Oceanfront Villas is a gated oceanfront complex located steps from the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. These villas feature 2 oceanfront pools, 2 elevators, private covered parking, and amazing views. The pools at the Oceanfront Villas are open seasonally from April 1 - October 31st, weather permitting.
The temperature of the pools is not controlled, and will largely depend on the outside weather conditions. Building management is responsible for the upkeep of the pools and elevators on the property. They may close either of these amenities for routine maintenance or cleaning as and when required.
Parking is limited to two spaces per villa and passes are complimentary. If additional parking is desired, it is at the discretion of the building management and based on availability. If additional parking passes are available, guests may elect to purchase them, but the cost can range up to $100 per pass.

Great ocean views. Plenty of deck chairs. Fully stocked kitchen. and lots of glasses and plates. Plenty of kitchen and bath linens.. Totally enjoyed our 2 weeks in Folly Island.
This location as far as furshings and appointments seemed put-together at the last minute and is the worst we have stayed in in the 12 years coming to Charleston Oceanfront Condominiums.
This property is in the best location of all of Folly Beach. That being said the condo was not ready to be rented. To begin with we were given incorrect check in instructions and could not access the condo until we straightened it out. So unfortunately one person from my group had to sit in his truck and wait almost 2 hours to enter. The condo had been recently painted and there were no pictures on the wall and the water was turned off . The kitchen was nicely furnished with the exception of the pans which are old and the non stick surface is gone. The wifi never worked and the management company finally just gave us the neighbors sign in. There was no instruction sheet for anything in the condo. This is a beautiful condo, just needs a bit of preparation before renting.
