Stay at Heron Cove located in popular Mallard Lakes!

This house was great for a girls weekend. The beds were comfortable and it was mostly clean. The outdoor patio furniture was covered in pollen and definitely needed a good wash. In addition, the kitchen could’ve used more cooking utensils and maybe a potholder but we made it work!! The upstairs bathroom was a highlight for our trip! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive during the booking process and I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed off-season. The host was very attentive and quick to respond. The Home had a lot of space and had a great location. The community was quiet and clean. Would stay again thank you for a great vacation!

The townhouse was well stocked for our family of 5. We were able to enjoy our time in the home and at the beach.

My family and I stayed here in late June and we loved it. Very cute property, really has a classic beach cottage feel. The neighborhood is really cute, and the water views are lovely. It's a very convenient drive to the beach, as well as to restaurants and grocery stores, so we felt very well situated. Nicole was a wonderful host, and was very helpful in her communication, and accommodating to my questions. The only thing I would say is, if you're planning to use the kitchen for much cooking, just know that the dishes are a bit of a hodge-podge. And not all of the dishes (mostly the pots/pans, and some utensils we used) were completely clean. But we were able to wash everything, and we managed with what we wanted to cook :)Overall a great stay, and we would definitely come back!

The place could be better if they cleaned it. Bathroom rugs were filthy, pillows were filthy (we brought our own TG), the floors were not vacuumed very well (game and puzzle pieces on the floor from previous renters). The Internet was really bad, unavailable most of the time. Clean it up!!! The shower is a big tub with NO SAFETY handles and could be dangerous. We only stayed two nights Thank goodness. I'm sure they'll give me a poor review in retaliation but not sure I'll use VRBO again. We left it cleaner than they left it for us!

The shower was a huge tub so hard to get in and out Bed in back bedroom was broke on one side There was no frying pans to cook Furniture in living room very uncomfortable not enough sitting and I didn’t like that there was not o curtain on the sliding door Everyone could look in Area was beautiful And no cable couldn’t watch news no movies

This house was really cute and cozy. The decor was nice and had everything our family needed. It was an easy drive to a few different beaches. There is a 50 fee if you use their linens and don’t wash them. We had to leave early so didn’t have time and just paid the fee. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Loved property close to tons of restaurants and activities.

The property was nice, although the key was very hard to locate and lots of equipment (baby stroller and baby toys) had to be moved in order to find it. There were no cleaning supplies but we were directed to clean prior to our checkout. There was one roll of toilet paper for our whole stay and the heat was finicky with the upstairs being extremely hot and the downstairs being freezing cold. The hot water was very limited and the water turned ice cold after only a short while. Overall the property was nice the stay nice even though the weather could’ve been better.

Only stayed first night went to hotel!! Needed a ladder to get in shower. You could not see that in n pictures! Tv was terrible! I feel I should get some compensation for it!!

We had a wedding at Bayside and this spot was perfect. Clean, great communication and close to everything. Nice to come and go with ease.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It is close to many beaches and great restaurants. The best part was enjoying coffee on the porch overlooking the water.

This was my first time staying in Delaware and it was great. The property has everything you need and is only a 10 minute drive to beaches and shopping. We plan on coming again

This is our 4th time staying at Nicole and Blaine’s and it was a great trip as always. There is not a better place to spend time with your family and unwind before the school year starts. Booking trip number 5 now!

The home itself was lovely and we had a great stay! The beds were super comfy and the house was clean and well kept. I would suggest reading the fine details of the property before booking. We were excited for the pool, but did not want to pay $100 to use it for one quick swim. The pool/ other amenities are not included in the stay and were a bit pricey. However, if you are staying for a week it may be worth it. Checkout is at 10:00 and you must wash/ dry/ put away all towels and bedsheets before leaving or there is an additional fee. The host was very accommodating and worked with us but it was a big detail for anyone staying here. I recommend the house to anyone who this works for, however having an early flight made this difficult for us. Thank you for sharing your home with us and helping us!
