Stayed May 31, 2024My husband and I chose this location for the kids (6 yo and 2 mo) for our week vacation. Panhandle Getaways-Customer Service Let me start by saying the panhandle Getaways customer service was really good. They answered all my questions leading up to checkin and even helped when we were misinformed of the floor we were on by the Splash contact. They stayed on the phone until we got in the unit. Splash-Facilities Because Splash is family focused a lot of the facilities and equipment is very worn however the pool, lazy river and hot tub needed a good cleaning. There were TONS of bugs and a few band aids in the water Splash Unit The pictures on VRBO looked really nice however we had a lot of issues with the unit. The overall cleanliness of the unit was inadequate. Initially it look OK but as we started to settle in we noticed more and more things were NOT.CLEAN.AT.ALL. We went to use one of the knives out of the knife block and there was old dried food on it. The sinks had a constant dirty odor even after trying to clean it. The second shower had what looked like black dirt on the door. There was ZERO cabinet space for groceries and with already limited counter space this made for a ton of clutter The freezer door couldn’t open all the way because of the positioning There was very limited space for clothing storage so we lived predominately out of our suitcases which is less than ideal for a week. Overall there are better places to stay for the price

Stayed Jul 15, 2023We’ve stayed at several condos at splash and this one was the nicest. Seems like it was recently renovated. Highly recommend.
