Splash 101W-A - Beachfront, Pools, Waterpark, Private Beach, Free Activities

This place was exactly as described. It was a view of ocean and Main Street, it wasn’t crowded on the street. The elevators are slow and even broke down but luckily we were on 1st floor. I would recommend anyone stay here. Be prepared for an over abundance of children.

Check in time was awful every day. 40 minute waits for the elevator. Condo description said dishes but absolutely no silverware. Floors weren't too clean. Dust everywhere.

Studio was nice, great view. Needed a couch or somewhere to sit other than laying on the bed. No remote for the TV. Had to change volume on TV. Map of the property when checking in would have been so helpful. Took 3 days to figure out how to get the tv to cable/satellite. Need instructions for TV operations. There was no adult only pool or heated pool as described on the website. The check in desk is only open limited hours which added to the confusion of finding room, and then having to return the next day to check in. A little too stressful for a relaxing weekend.

Check in was horrible as no one was there at 630pm and I couldnt find any info on how to proceed so we just went to the room and the key code worked. We were later told to go back to check in the next morning to pay for a parking pass and pool passes, which are not needed nor enforced. The room described as having a kitchenette was misleading as it only included a college size refrigerator and a microwave. No stove or hot plates. Other than these small issues, everything was as described and a pretty great place. The beach gets crowded with people who don't stay at the resort however.

This was a great room! It was clean and spacious and well decorated and the view of the beach was terrific. The unit listed a coffeemaker but there wasn't one. However, the wonderful managers of the unit called us the night we checked in just to see how everything was, and when I told them about the coffeemaker, they delivered one to us almost immediately! Excellent customer service! It was also nice being on the first floor (which is really like the third floor because of the lobby & ground level) because we took the stairs which saved a lot of time (the elevators were often crowded and slow). This is definitely a family-friendly resort with tons of amenities for kids so this room would be good for a family with a small child or toddler (there's space in the room for a pack & play or small air mattress), although my husband & I enjoyed our stay as a couple. One slightly odd thing about this unit is that it shares a common door with the adjacent unit. So your unit and the unit beside you enter through the same door, but then each unit has its own locked door. So you still have privacy and it's not a big deal, just something I wasn't expecting. This resort is located on the western side of PCB so it's much quieter and less busy, which we liked. Overall we felt this room was a good value for what we got and we were very pleased with the customer service.
