This was the perfect unit for just a quick weekend away. Everything was clean and easily accessible. The unit offers a stunning sunset view over the lake and was very quiet. The host was very easy to contact and pleasant to work with. She went out of her way to make sure we arrived and accessed the unit with no difficulties. Would definitely recommend.

very nice weekend getaway. Enjoyed the views and the quiet surroundings. Would suggest some type of lighting over the unit number. It was dark when we arrived and it was very hard to find which unit. We went to 3 units flashing on cell phone flashlight on the numbers before finding ours.

Great place for a romantic getaway for two. Unit was very clean and well decorated. Bottom floor unit accessible by three sections of stairs. Very nice patio with table, umbrella, chairs and view of pool and lake. Included access to gated pool and community area. Comfortable queen bed and small but well equipped kitchen. Polly responded promptly and was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Polly graciously allowed me to book less than 24 hours before check-in. She is a friendly host and her condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was the perfect solo weekend getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway for our anniversary. The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner even left us a card for our anniversary. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I own land in SML so we visit several times per year to check in. We found Polly’s place to be a Very clean little unit for 2 in a beautiful SML waterfront location. We arrived on Valentine’s Day amidst a terrible ice/snow storm and unfortunately, there was no internet. Polly was very responsive and made every effort to resolve the issue but to no avail. She was apologetic and made a fair accommodation. Great customer service! The bed and pillows were amazing. Lovely linens were a nice touch. The unit was clean and stocked with all the necessities and then some. I Will say that most things in the unit are pretty basic so if you’re looking for a luxury get away this is not the place for you. We did run into a problem while trying to boil a simple pot of water. There is no kitchen vent and no fan. The microwave is shelved right above the range and there is a smoke detector in the tiny galley kitchen. As soon as the water started to steam, the smoke detector went off and we found ourselves fanning the smoke detector. None of these minor things would keep us from returning to Polly’s place. Overall the location, comfort and host were very much worth the price of the stay. We would love to return to Polly’s place in the future! As a side note, you must be able to climb stairs as this unit is only accessible by stairs. Additionally, cell service is very limited in this unit and not available at all in parts of the unit.

My husband stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! Polly was so helpful with our late check in and getting us all off the information we needed for a peaceful stay. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the back patio looking at the lake sipping our morning coffee and resting and relaxing in the condo. I would definitely recommend Polly’s condo for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful trip!!

The area is beautiful this time of year, especially being right on the lake. The place was cozy and comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that the internet was the one provided by the homeowners association which was not very reliable most evenings.

This property was exactly what I needed. Communication with the host was easy and she was very quick responding. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to stay with a great lakeside view, book this property.

Just looking for a place for a short getaway. We were very interested in Smith Mountain Lake. We wanted a water view and this property had that. Condo was compact but had every we needed. Place was very clean which was my first requirement. Condo was a bit away from the center of town, but honestly it didn’t matter much as there was a mini mart and a very good restaurant at the nearest crossroad. Overall, this was a good choice for us. Owner was very helpful and honest with my questions. I would recommend this location

Our time at Polly's was brief but enjoyable. The space was clean and convenient. Sitting on the patio watching the sun set was lovely. She was very helpful and responsive to my questions.

First off, the communication with Polly for any and everything was top notch. She was so accommodating! She left us a little something special because she knew it was our anniversary and that meant so much to know she cared. The property was so clean and welcoming. We will definitely be utilizing this condo in the future again solely because the customer service was the best we’ve received (the location is awesome too but in today’s world, a kind person goes far!)

Beautiful views and enjoyed the wildlife

House was very clean and the place was in a great location. Easy check in check out process. Host was very attentive and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

We have stayed at Smith Mountain Lake and these condos many times over the years. We love the one we stayed in this year as it was on ground level and the owner was very kind and attentive to any needs that we had. We will be back again!

Honestly Polly was the nicest, most helpful person we've ever rented from! Her condo was so clean and comfortable, and when she tells you she has everything there for you, she means EVERYTHING. Also the condo was so close to so many restaurants and even a very nice community lake! And the pool on site was amazing also! I would definitely recommend renting from Polly over anyone else in the area 😁

I can't begin to describe how nice this condo is! It is small but extremely comfortable. It has everything you will need for your stay! The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was just what you need! The pool was clean and peaceful. If you need a recharge from life then this is the perfect place to rent. Communication with the owner was excellent. She really cares about her guests and it shows! We throughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back! Thank you!
