Spacious Oceanview Condo by Beach-Castle Reef 314

We were looking forward to spending time with family on the beach as we gave the gift of experience not presents this year. Unfortunately, my husband and I both became very ill with Covid Christmas Eve. We chose to not travel due to heightened travelers and feeling crummy. We tried reaching out to the owner to explain our concerns and did not receive a response until Friday. We were not expecting a refund, but were really hoping they would offer a credit for a future date as this very unfortunate circumstance was out of our control. They not only didn’t offer a credit for the condo they didn’t even offer a credit for the cleaning fee. We have stayed at this condo several times with other owners and have never had such terrible customer service. So, whatever you do, buy travel insurance, don’t expect timely responses, and hope like hell that you don’t need any grace because this company does not offer that.

This VRBO place was clean and came with loads of towels and sheets. We had an issue with the AC and they immediately addressed it bringing in portable AC units until the AC repairman came out. The only thing I would gig them on is the kitchen items. We struggled with not having serving bowls. The pool and ocean view were fabulous and watching the bunnies from the porch was quite relaxing.

This unit was updated and had several things which made our stay more enjoyable. The unit had beach towels, beach chairs, a few beach forays. The unit was very clean and had a great ocean view

The apartment was very nice and clean and location great. Easy check in and check out. The only disappointment was that bikes were listed on the site (and why we chose this apartment) but none were found. A list of bike rules was posted on a wall in the apartment. We checked with the office, and they had no idea of where bikes could be.

Wonderful property, good location. The condo was well maintained and had all the amenities that we were looking for. The only problem that we encountered was the construction but we were warned about it prior to checking in (so no fault of the owners). We will likely use this condo in the future for our stays in NSB.

We love Castle Reef. This was our first stay at 314 but our fourth visit to the complex! We love that the pool is on the beach. And they keep everything so clean! The complex is close to everything.

This is our second time staying at this property, it continues to be a great value across the board.

this unit was very nicely updated....although the full kitchen available needed more (pots pans etc...)...as well the unit needed more bath towels only 4 available of which 2 were stained from previous visitors which is crazy for the amount of people this unit can sleep...the master bed sheets were paper thin and ready to tear....we will return to castle reef next year in another condo

I believe I left the unit cleaner than when I arrived. Otherwise fine. I’ve been coming to castle reef since I was a kid and enjoy the area.
