Spacious and Luxurious Condo With Ocean Views

The minute you walked in you greeted with a very musty smell and dog smell. This never went away the entire time we stayed. I think some damp rid bags and maybe leaving the ceiling fans on low would help in the long run. There were copious amounts of dog hair everywhere. On the counters, kitchen table, all the furniture, bathrooms and bedroom. The master bedroom had dog hair on the comforter and sheets. Our one friend that was supposed to stay with us had to go somewhere else because she was allergic to dogs. I think this should be stated up front that there is a large dog that stays here and if you are allergic to dogs, don't rent this place.The screen doors are very hard to open - I understand this is due to the salt however if renting this place out you should try to maintain them. We ended up leaving a day early because I just couldn't take it anymore.

Wonderful stay

Very nice condo. Pictures didn’t do it justice. Our group loved it. Balcony was nice and you can see the ocean. First vacation rental for us that wasn’t ocean front so was a bit worried but the condo is located right across the road from the beach and it was perfect. It’s also located a few steps from the pool/clubhouse so what could be better. We had a great little vacation so I hesitate to even bring these few distractions up but please consider: 1) Ice maker didn't work and leaked a little (You can go to clubhouse and get ice though) 2) Dishwasher needs bolted in 3) Needs more silverware (not even full set of each) 4) Would be nice to install handle on sliding door - very difficult to open/close 5) Would be nice to install a “grab bar” in bathroom tub. 6) Had to remind property to send me check-in instructions Obviously minor issues. Would recommend the condo to anyone needing a little fun and sun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Condo was in very good condition. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms with towels and all the other items. The swimming pool was well maintained, as was the community center. Parking was excellent and the covered parking came in handy during the afternoon storms every day!! Our location to the beach and ocean view were perfect, and as promised. Also, the view for the fireworks was great. Problems during stay: 1. Roaches were everywhere. Literally, everywhere. Bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, walls. Adult and baby roaches. Made a call on the 1st night to ask for a treatment. No one came, so we dealt with them for our 3 night stay. 2. The sliding doors to the patio are VERY difficult to open and close. Couldn't open or lock the bedroom door at all. Also the vertical blinds in den were in need of replacing. The do not close or open properly and don't close all the way. 3. The workout room is need of updating. Equipment tired and in poor condition. Nautilaus station not functioning correctly. 4. The instructions for this specific condo were frustrating upon arrival. We were looking for a way up to the lockbox, but needed assistance, as the only stairwell up was on the back side of the building, and not marked. We did not get a garage door opener until we got inside the condo. Not explained well on the instructions and took some assistance, which was provided by the local condo staff, who were excellent! So in summary, we really enjoyed our stay and would gladly reserve this space again, if the pest item is adequately addressed.

Great location! The couch was supposed to have a pull out bed it was broke and they placed an ironing board under the cushions to support it. Dishwasher barely worked most dishes had to be rewashed by hand . Washer and dryer outdated washing machine sounds terrible during spin cycle. Fans were dusty and dirty. Many light bulbs were out with no replacement bulbs. Probably the worst part of the trip was that neither gate opener worked occasionally one remote would work we mostly just entered the code but the parking garage door remote didn’t work we purchased new batteries still didn’t work called the rental office they said they would call the owners and we never heard back. Someone had to get out of the car to manually open the garage door every time. Our daughter was stuck in the elevator for upwards of 30 minutes because it broke down the fire department had to come. We have been staying at ocean walk for more than 8 years this condo was the worst as far as maintenance, repair, and furnishings.

Due to the health of a relative we have been unable to take a vacation for 3 1/2 years. We were so excited to find Ocean Walk and this unit! It fit our needs so well and the view from the unit was incredible. Even though across the street from the ocean, you could see the ocean from the unit and it was such a plus for us since we always say that the ocean is our therapy!! thank you for your help in facilitating our needs and always being so responsive to our requests and concerns. WE WILL BE BACK as soon as we can work it out, hopefully before the year is out.

Everything was nicely kept and very clean. Very short walk to the beach. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely condo. It is very nicely decorated. There is a partial ocean view. The beds were all comfortable. The Oceanwalk Complex is great with wonderful amenities - pool and hot tub. It is a very short walk to the beach which is a beautiful. We could not have asked for more during our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!!
